Top 9 tips to follow for acne skin care

Acne is a disease that usually affects the skin condition of people between the ages of 12 to 24.The cause of the acne difficult to determine. However, over secretion of the sebaceous glands has been reported to trigger most acne outbreaks.

The Pilosebaceos units are a combination of hair follicles and oil glands in the skin. Pilosebaceos are found on skin tissue throughout the body, except for the surface of the palms and the soles of the feet. They are responsible for secreting an oily substance called sebum. However, several factors ( such as hormonal imbalances, stress, and the skin's natural state) can cause the oil glands to produce more sebum than normal. When this happens, the excess oil clogs the pores of the skin. This process brings about bacterial infection and stimulates the immune system response. Ultimately, acne is the result of inflammation.

Pimples can occur on any skin. An oily skin type is most susceptible to acne. On the other hand, dry skin may not be so sensitive, but severe outbreaks can occur during winters. Normal skin is equally susceptible to acne, but the level of severity may not be as high.

Currently, acne is not yet completely curable, but it can be treated with several acne skin care methods. Many people take the help of topicals medication, which is applied to the surface of the skin. However, using acne skin care products like "pore strip pads" can make Whiteheads and blackheads go away, but they will not affect the excess sebum produced.

Nevertheless, for treatment and prevention, it is best to adopt the following 9 simple tips.

1.A healthy, balanced diet should be followed. Therefore, your food intake should include all the essential nutrients that the body requires for efficient functioning.

2. Drink plenty of fluids like water, juice. Minimize the consumption of carbonated drinks.

3. Wash your face with mild soap and water. The logic is not to remove dirt(as most acne sufferers experience) but to remove plugs on skin pores, a combination of dead skin cells, bacteria, and hardened sebum. Although dirt doesn't actually cause acne, it can contribute to further infection through interaction with skin debris and particles and excess oil in the skin

5. Use topical cleansing pads that may contain one or a combination of the following: salicylic acid, sulfur, and Benzoyl peroxide to remove excess oil in the skin is to wash your face with the hottest water possible.

6. Minimize the use of harsh cleansers and use acne skincare items that exfoliate lightly. Do not scrub the affected areas vigorously.

7. Avoid touching your face if your hands are dirty.

8. If you have long hair, then tie your hair so that it stays away from the face. This is especially so when the weather is hot, and you are sweating.

9. Avoid the following: Make sure to avoid the following acts, which can trigger acne flare-ups, overexposure to the sun, the wearing of tight-fitting items that run against the skin.

Preventive acne skincare steps are as important as treating acne itself. With prevention, you know how to ensure that your acne problem does not escalate and spread to a bigger infected area.
