1. Battle for Jerusalem (Nov 9, 1947 – Jul 18, 1948)
The Battle for Jerusalem took place during the 1947–1948 civil war phase of the 1947–1949 Palestine war. It saw Jewish and Arab militias in Mandatory Palestine, and later the militaries of Israel and Transjordan, fight for control over the city of Jerusalem.

3. Constantinople victory (May 29, 1453)
Conquest of Constantinople by Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire. The dwindling Byzantine Empire ended when the Ottomans breached Constantinople's ancient land wall after besieging the city for 55 days.

5. Battle of Chaldiran, (August 23, 1514)
Military engagement in which the Ottomans won a decisive victory over the Safavid of Iran and went on to gain control of eastern Anatolia.
6. Battle of Vienna (September 12, 1683)
Expedition by the Ottomans against the Habsburg Holy Roman emperor Leopold I resulted in their defeat by a combined force led by John III Sobieski of Poland. The lifting of the siege marked the beginning of the end of Ottoman domination in Eastern Europe.
7. Battle of Kars (Aug 9, 1745 – Aug 19, 1745)
The Battle of Kars was the last major engagement of the Ottoman-Persian War. The battle resulted in the complete and utter destruction of the Ottoman army. It was also the last of the great military triumphs of Nader Shah.
8. French conquest of Algeria
The French conquest of Algeria took place between 1830 and 1903. In 1827, an argument between Hussein Dey, the ruler of the Deylik of Algiers, and the French consul escalated into a blockade, following which the July Monarchy of France invaded and quickly seized Algiers in 1830, and took other coastal communities.
9. Battle of Gura(Mar 7, 1876 – Mar 9, 1876)
The Battle of Gura was fought on 7–9 March 1876 between the Ethiopian Empire and the Khedive of Egypt near the town of Gura in Eritrea. It was the second and decisive major battle of the Ethiopian–Egyptian War .The armies of Yohannes and Isma'il met at Gundet on the morning of 16 November 1875.
