Acne is a disease that affects the skin condition of people between the ages of 12 and 24. The cause of acne is difficult to determine. However, excessive secretion of sebaceous glands has been reported to trigger the spread of most acne.
Pilosebaceous units are a combination of hair follicles and oil glands in the skin. Pilosebaceous units are found on skin tissues throughout the body, except for the surface of the palms and soles. They are responsible for secreting an oily substance called sebum. However, many factors (such as hormonal imbalances, stress, and the natural state of the skin) can cause oil glands to produce more sebum than normal. When this happens, the excess oil clogs the skin's pores. This process leads to a bacterial infection and stimulates the immune system to respond. Eventually, the pimples become inflamed.
Acne can affect any type of skin. Oily skin type is very prone to acne. On the other hand, dry skin may not be as sensitive but can cause severe spread in winter. Normal skin is velvety, with no acne, and even in color
Currently, acne is not completely cured, but it can be treated with many acne skincare methods. Most people take the help of topical medications that are applied to the surface of the skin. However, the use of acne skin care products such as "Pore strip Pads" will eliminate whiteheads and blackheads, but they will have no effect on the excess sebum that is produced.
However, for treatment and prevention, it is best to follow the following 8 simple tips:
1. A healthy, balanced diet should be followed. Therefore, the diet you take in should contain all the nutrients that the body needs to function effectively.
2. Drink plenty of fluids like water and juice. Reduce consumption of carbonated beverages.
3. Makeup is not recommended.
4. Wash your face with mild soap and water. The logic is not to remove dirt (as experienced by many people with acne) but to remove the plugs on the pores of the skin, which may be a combination of dead skin cells, bacteria, and hardened sebum. Although dirt does not actually cause acne, it can contribute to further infection by interacting with skin debris and cells and excess oil in the skin.
5. Salicylic acid, sulfur, and benzoyl peroxide to remove excess oil: Use topical cleansing pads that contain one or a combination of the following. Another way to reduce the presence of excess oil on the skin is to wash your face with as much hot water as possible.
6. Reduce the use of harsh cleansers and use exfoliating acne skincare products that are easy to exfoliate. Do not scrub the affected areas severely.
7. If you have dirty hands, do not touch your face.
8. If you have long hair, tie your hair away from the face. This is especially true when the weather is hot, and you are sweating.
Acne treatment is just as important as skincare measures for the prevention of acne. With prevention, at the very least, you know how to prevent your acne problem from growing and spreading to the bigger infected area.
