8. Common law admission test (CLAT)
CLAT allows the pass candidates to study law courses in prestigious law colleges or universities across India. BA LLB(Hons), BSC LLB(Hons), are among the courses that the aspirant can study from prestigious colleges or universities after passing the CLAT.

7. NID Entrance examination
Another name of the test is the NID Design Aptitude test (NID DAT). This exam is conducted by the NID admission committee. To know the level of creativity is among the students when it comes to designing. Coming out with flying colors in this exam is not easy it is not as one thinks. At first, the candidate has to pass NID DATprelims. To appear in NID DATmains.and it has two parts studio test and personal interview.

6. NEET(National Eligibility cum entrance test)UG
The candidate who wanted to become a doctor. Has to pass this exam to take admission to a top medical college or university in India. This exam is of 720 marks with three subjects physics, chemistry, and biology. For setting in this exam, the candidate must have pass 12th(PCB) with 50%of marks. There are no age restrictions on it.

5. AIIMS UG entrance exam
Although now this exam is replaced by NEET. But this exam is still conducted by AIIMS to take the admission of medical students in it. This exam is one of the most challenging exams for Indian medical students. After passing this exam, one can get admission to the AIIMS institute.
AIIMS (All India institute of medical science) is known as the best medical college or hospital in India.
This is the 5th toughest exam in India.
4. CAT (common admission test)
This exam is held for the candidates who are willing to get admission to business school or management institute. After long hours of study and analysis, a candidate can pass the exam.
About five lakhs of candidates apply for it, but out of the five lakh candidates, only 1500to 2000 candidates pass out.
This is the 4th toughest exam in India.
3. GATE (general aptitude test in engineering)
The candidates who pass out this exam can study post-graduate courses in IITs, NITs, and IIITs. The real test lies at the candidates attending exam have to study the portion taught in four-year graduate engineering at the same time. And it is not easy for all.

2. JEE advanced
JEE (joint entrance examination) advanced is known as one of the toughest exams because, in this exam, the candidate first has to pass JEE mains to set in JEE advanced, which checks the students' IQ level. The pass-out candidates can get entry into propitious institutes like IITs and IISCs to study engineering courses.

1. UPSC
UPSC civil services exam (CSE) this exam is known as the toughest exam in India. This exam has the vastest syllabus to study. It contains general knowledge questions and current affairs. It has three stages 1st prelims, 2nd mains, 3rd interview. And the rejection rate is very high.
Every year over 10 lakh students apply. Out of them, only hundreds of candidates got selected.
