WWF- The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Known by its Panda logo, it leads international efforts to protect endangered species and their habitats, founded in 1961. The WWF is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961 that works in wildness preservation and reduces human impact on the environment. It was formerly named the World Wildlife Fund, which remains its official name in Canada and the United States. Working in more than 100 countries.
4.World Bank
The world bank was created in 1944. It's one of the world’s largest sources of funding for developing countries. It provides loans and guarantees for development projects around the world. It comprises 2 institutions: The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). The World Bank is a component of the World Bank Group. The World Bank’s most recently stated goal is the reduction of poverty .
5.IMF
IMF-International Monetary Fund was created alongside the world bank in 1945 as overlapping finance arms of the United Nations. The IMF primarily monitors exchange rates, stabilizes international monetary systems, and fosters global financial cooperation. It is an organization of 189 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation and reduce poverty worldwide. The IMF is one of the several global banks that provide loans to troubled economies to promote a stable world economy.
6.SEARCH
It stands for South Asian Association for regional cooperation. It is the regional intergovernmental organization in South Asia. It was founded in Dhaka in 1985. Its secretariat is based in Nepal. SAARC aims to promote economic growth, social progress, and cultural development within the South Asia region. Its member states are India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan.
7. NATO
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was established in 1949 to act against the threat of militant European nationalism and encourage political integration. It is an intergovernmental military alliance between 28 European and 2 North American countries. NATO’s essential and enduring purpose is to safeguard the freedom and security of all its members by political and military means. Collective defense is at the heart of the alliance and creates a spirit of solidarity and cohesion among its members.
8.Ammensty International
It was founded in 1961 by the British lawyer Peter Benenson. It uncovers the facts about violations and breaches of human rights. It is an international nongovernmental organization with its headquarters in the UK focused on human rights. The organization's stated mission is to campaign for a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments.
