1.Sekha ichi apple
Sekha Ichi is a cultivar of apples first released from Japan in 1974. It is considered one of the largest varieties of apples, with an average circumference of 30 to 46 centimeters and 900 grams. It can cost as good as Rs 1588, which is around 21 dollars for a 907-gram apple. Sound strange and crazy, but it's true these exotic apples from Japan are one of the most expensive fruits worldwide.
2.Square watermelon
Square or cube watermelon are grown into the shape of a cube. Cube watermelons are common in Japan, but they are essentially ornamental and are often very expensive, with prices as high as 100 dollars. They are invented to fit more compactly in fridges and cut more easily. they were invented by graphic designer Tomoyuki Ono in 1978.
3.Heligan pineapple
It is a species of pineapple that is cultivated in the Lost Gardens of Heligan in England. According to a report, pineapples occurring in the lost garden are the most expensive in the world. This pineapple is grown by using methods of colder climates. The method was invented by gardeners in the UK during the Victorian era. One pineapple costs 1600 dollars(about 1.14 lakhs).
4.Ruby Roman Grapes
Ruby Roman is a variety of table grown and marketed entirely in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is red in color and about the size of a ping-pong ball. The first Ruby Roman grapes went on sale in August 2008 for 100,000 Japanese yen per 700-gram bunch or 26 dollars per grape. Ruby Roman is apparently so spectacular that the fruit cost around Rs 750,000 in India.
5.Durian Crassipes fruit
Among the 30 known species of Durio, eleven species have been identified to produce edible fruits so far. However, many species for which fruit has never been collected or properly described, and other species with edible fruit likely exist. It is the only species available in the international market: other species are sold in their local regions. As the team of scientists has shown, amino acids play a major role in forming the characteristic durian odor. Due to its excessive odor, Thailand, Japan, and Hongkong have banned the durian fruit in public transport.
6.Art banana
An Italian artist duct-taped a banana to a gallery wall in Miami as part of the Art Basel festival--and it sold for $120,000.A french collector then bought the piece--titled "Comedian"--for its $120,000 listed price. A second edition was later sold at the same price to a man from the same country. A third is now up for grabs for $150,000--though Cattelan intends to sell it to a museum.

8.Pineberry
Pineberry is a hybrid cross from Fragaria chiloensis and Fragaria virginiana. First found in South America around 2002., they are now grown in Belgium and exported from the Netherlands. The plant is disease resistant but is highly priced, although not very profitable due to small-scale farming.
