He made his debut for India in T20I against England and ODI debut against Srilanka in the current ongoing series

He is known for the blistering start that he gives as an opener, and more often, his shots somehow resemble the shots that the great legend Yuvraj Singh used to play. Recently, he has been selected for the Indian team for the ongoing series against Srilanka.
