Today's therapy is great, but it can never save you from the problems caused by the disease. It is far better to live in such a way that you rarely get sick than to have modern medicine for every problem.
Prevention is better than everyday cure. Here are seven tips on how to live a long and healthy life. Apart from this, it helps you to avoid disease; it also helps you to lose weight.
1. Exercise
Earlier, people had to use their physical bodies in the course of their normal work. But today, no one wants to hurt their body, go to work in the car, then sit back, get up in the car to go home, and sit again for the rest of the day when they get home.
There is no physical labor in such a life. This physical inactivity is one of the main causes of many diseases. The amount of time we give on mobile and television, if we give only one hour to our body, can avoid many diseases and give our body some time in the morning.
2. Fall asleep when you're sleepy
It may sound simple, but many people wake up late, even when their body tells them it's time to sleep. Doctors also say that it is better to sleep at night and be active during the day.
However, people like students consume coffee and stimulants to study till late at night. As a result, many people develop a habit of being active at night and sleeping during the day.
We can do this, but it ultimately takes a toll on health, say, doctors. Moreover, such unnatural life is a feast for the causes of cancer and other diseases.
3. Eat when you're hungry
This, too, is a simple idea, but once again, we often go against the body's messages. For example, if you eat out of habit or because of social pressure at certain times of the day, even when you don't feel genuinely hungry, you may not digest your food properly.
Acidity and indigestion are triggered, and this increases the chances of other complex diseases taking root. Feeling hungry is indeed a sign of good health, but you should wait for a while and then eat if you are not hungry.
If you do not feel hungry even after waiting for a reasonable time, then you should consult a doctor as something is wrong.
4. A Routine, Rest
If you ask someone to work 365 days per year without any rest, they will complain and say that they should take some rest or else they will break.
But we never bothered to ask or think about our digestive organs, which we are forced to work day after day without rest. They can't resist the way a person would do to their boss, but they signal that they can't work non-stop.
When we ignore those signals and still force them to work, those organs break down. That is why it is necessary to fast from time to time. Also, avoid eating for a whole day. It relaxes your digestive organs and also helps in eliminating waste from your body.
Regular fasting allows a person to gain extra time for intellectual or spiritual pursuits. Thus, fasting is not for sadhus in a cave but is a sensible practice practiced by anyone.
5. Wash off with cold water before sleeping
Proper sleep is essential for the maintenance of health. If you wash your vital sensory organs ( hands, eyes, feet, mouth ) with cold water before sleeping, it will relax you and prepare you for deep sleep.
6. Meditate Regularly
Your body is connected to your mind. Many diseases of this age are psychosomatic. Stress and anxiety take a toll on our physical health.
Meditation is a mental exercise that, among other things, allows you to separate yourself from the worries of life. Learn a simple technique and do it regularly.
7. Wake up early every day
Once again, the old saying goes, '' Early to bed, early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.'' I don't know if it will make you rich, but it will definitely make you healthy.
