The purpose of life is different for every individual. It is all about being happy. It is all about obtaining worldly things, and to some, it seems to be an endless struggle.

Most people around give us the lecture for being inactive, for not being an asset, but actually, nobody tries to understand the reason behind such behavior. There could be n number of reasons which only you can deal with.

When you start with something, it will have buried challenges; you need to face them reasonably that will ultimately help you achieve your aims.

Those for whom life is an endless struggle find it challenging to accept that life is full of "CHALLENGES." There is an urgent need to overcome challenges to live life to its fullest, but for them, the scenario is like ye Chuk that khatam nhi hota yar (why the pain is not coming to an end).

Your inner self already knows these facts, and you are smart enough to differentiate things. The question here is that, What is stopping you then from stepping towards your development?

And the answer to the above question is "CHALLENGES," handling challenges and coming up with a solution signifies your mental strength. As challenges are an essential part of success, let us dive in to know all about challenges and how to overcome them.

What are Challenges?

Challenge is something that requires both your mental and physical attention. Anything you find challenging to be done can turn out to be a challenge for you.

Here is an example:

English is a universal language required everywhere, especially on the professional front, and you want to get a job, but what if you have difficulty writing/reading/speaking it!!!! "BOOM"…now that is a challenge for you as it requires both your mental and physical attention to the face and overcome it.

You face challenges every day at the workplace, school, life, job, relationship, and so on.

Four challenges you face:

1. Fear of Failure

Fear of failure is a widespread challenge everyone faces. When you take up a task, you often start estimating yourself and consider yourself a loser or those who do not have the potential to do that. What you exactly do is you already decide the result and make up your mind that things will not fall in a row.

2. Loss

Your heart often takes time to accept the things that your mind already knows. When you face any loss, it could be a job loss, opportunity loss, or losing a person; it becomes difficult to accept the reality, which turns out to be a challenge.

3. Expectations

Expectations are natural; it is the human behavior to expect things in return if invested in something. The investment could be multiple like emotional investment, asset investment, or time investment, but what if you don't get your returns for the same. Now, it becomes difficult to accept the reality, which turns out to be a challenge.

4. Self-Esteem

Mind is a mighty weapon humans have; you often underestimate yourself due to a lack of confidence. You often find it difficult to give a public speech and take responsibility. In all the scenarios mentioned, poor self-esteem seems to be a challenge.

As of now, you have understood the challenges you face, and it is time to find solutions for them; as every problem has a solution, so do the challenges also have.

How to Overcome Challenges?

1. ACCEPT

Accept

Sometimes we get so comfortable with our lives that we deny the facts, accept the current demanding situations, and adjust ourselves accordingly.

NO…NO…NO…...!!! if you want to accept something, it should not be the situation but the challenge behind it. It is hard but not impossible. You need to get up; you need to face reality rather than denying it.

Acceptance is the very first step to overcome your fear of failure. You need to accept the situation if you are not good at English, your relationship is not working out, you are lazy, or you are bad at your finances…. come on, just accept it, take responsibility for your actions, and stop the blame game.

2. ANALYZE

Analyze Resource

Once you accept the challenge, then there is an urgent need to analyze your resources. Write down the challenge and all the possible solutions to it, try to make a checklist, and look forward to all the tools you require in the process.

Here, the tool could be a person facing a challenge in your relationship, a book if you face a challenge in your studies, or a gym if fitness is the issue/challenge.

Try to make a checklist. They are accommodating and just don't neglect their importance. A list helps you to be clear with your thoughts.

3. PLAN

Planning

Now, when you are clear with the acceptance and analysis, it is time to make a plan. The plan includes the action of how and when the step is to be taken.

Always have a Plan B, there is nothing wrong with the backup plan, and it is there to support you; when nothing works, just go for it.

4. ACTION

Actions

Action is all about executing your plan. Just don't end up with a project or thoughts in your mind; motivate yourself to take the appropriate steps. To reach somewhere, you need to move from somewhere else, similarly to overcome challenges, you need to take action for it rather than running away.

5. OPTIMISM

Optimistic

It is challenging to stay motivated, but it requires a powerful mindset to proceed with the actions despite all odds.

Being optimistic about yourself helps you develop confidence and brings in many potentials to stand against the odds.

Some situations are out of our control, and we should learn to accept the changes. Sometimes, changing your perspective is the only solution to a challenge.

6. COMMUNICATE

communicate

Wherever you feel, reach out to people for help, seek their advice, and have few people who don't judge you for anything. There is nothing wrong with asking for help, and be clear with your thoughts/words.

Express yourself through any mode like writing or speaking, but express, don't build up the problem and let yourself free.

7. LET THINGS GO!

Let it go

Learn not to be hard on yourself. Some situations are out of your control, and you need to accept that simply. It's ok; everything is not meant to be there; take a deep breath and let it go.

Don't stress yourself for it and remember things not working out doesn't mean the end of life, do explore other options. Explore your inner self and develop your personality; work on yourself.

Carry a healthy attitude, be a good listener and observer.

REMEMBER

Life is all about growing, learning, attaining peace and which requires overcoming challenges. Challenges are an essential part of life which leads to the beautiful road of improvement and success.

And keep reminding yourself that you are strong enough, and this hard time will pass. Take appropriate actions, seek help and conclude your problem.

Never stop trying, as it is your last line of defense. Be a humble friend of yourself.
