If you're going to start a blog, then this article will help you choose a profitable niche for your blog, because there are many niches in which the competition is insanely high, and all your efforts might end up in vain.
A recent study by blog Millionaire dot com found out that amateur bloggers make up to $8000 dollars in profit from their blog. That's a decent amount of money, right.
Hello everyone, I am Ghulam Muhiudeen, and today I am going to share with you 7 trending blog niche ideas with much less competition. Plus, For each niche, I am going to share monetization strategies that would help to scale your blog site into a passive income stream.
Okay, so the first one on our list is,
Video Studio DIY.
Think of it this way, there are millions of Channels on YouTube and the number is not going to fall soon enough. People are looking for Home-based improvisations and DIY solutions regarding lighting, Sound, and backdrop. You can discuss topics like soundproofing your room,
best, microphones under X amount of dollars and a complete guide to perfect lighting.
The competition is fairly low and the trend is on the rise.
Talking about Monetization, apart from Google Ads, you can find a handful of affiliate offers from mic to cameras, light, and the backdrop.
If I were to start a blog in this niche, I would prefer to promote The software that says Video Editors or stock music subscriptions rather than physical products. Before we move on to the next niche on our list, I just want to break this myth that blogging is just for young people. If there is anything that you are passionate about and have experience with, you can start a blog on that topic regardless of your age.
Moving to retirement
The next on our list is Moving to retirement or Retirement plans.
If you ask me personally, I really do love this niche. Because (a) the competition is low and (b)
there are just SO many potential keywords for you to rank for.
People are continuously looking to retire and they are wondering what it's like to move into a large 50+ community in Texas or Florida. This aging population definitely needs advice and a sound plan. And your blog could prove to be such a platform for them. I recommend creating an info product where you pay a lawyer and an investment advisor to sit down with you and record an interview with them to get advice for new retirees.
Call the product " How to Not Outlive Your Retirement" sell it on your site. Could be a GREAT product.
Now the next niche which I have for you is one of my favorites and it’s the
Home/Backyard Office
With the current Work From home Scenario, this Niche is definitely growing. People are looking for Nice and Affordable options to set up their home offices. From space management to minimal furniture options, there are a whole lot of topics that you can cover. Since the development is fairly recent, the competition in this Niche is fairly low. When you are choosing this niche do not forget to include YouTubers,
Bloggers and podcasters also operate in a work-from-home environment and they can be your potential buyers. The monetization here would include all the physical products from the office chair to the PC that they use in their home office. You can also, create and sell a course on " how to perfectly
setup your home office and be 100x more productive"
Podcasting
The next niche is one of the popular niches the idea that is hot and trending with a lot of topics to be covered, it’s the Podcasting Your blog can focus on the tips, tricks, or the DIY stuff that is required to set up a successful podcast environment. You can even Sub-Niche to a specific category like Podcasting for Bloggers, podcasting for YouTubers. The opportunities are endless.
Apart from the physical products and affiliate offers, I would recommend that you go for an info-product. You can team up with an Author, a blogger, and a Web-designer and discuss how they leverage podcasts for more sales. Call the product " Leveraging Podcast for
More Clients" and sell it on your site
Homeschooling
The number fifth on our list is Homeschooling Under the current scenario, this niche is high in demand. If you have a teaching background and you plan on starting a blog is the perfect Niche for you.
According to Google Trends, there is a sub-surge in the interest of homeschooling, so it’s the right time and you better capitalize on this. I feel that this type of Niche can convert pretty well on Pinterest too. Apart from the guides and other informative content, I would highly recommend that you go for podcasting or youtube videos on this topic.
Just think about it, an interview with a homeschooling mother of 4 kids, a webinar with 6 homeschooling mothers sharing their experience, the opportunities are endless.
Traveling with Pets
Now let's move to our next niche which is for people who are pet lovers and who love to travel as well. It's Traveling with Pets Let's face it, we all love traveling, and we love our pets too.
But both the traveling and pet niche is insanely competitive. What if you combine both of these and start a blog on traveling with pets or traveling with a cat? You could recommend cat carriers or devices to keep them cool in a car, etc. You can also, search on amazon for other physical products, making your blog helpful to pet owners who want to travel. Answer questions
like a true blogger and give good tips.
DIY Home Automation
People love DIY stuff. I do too. I have done some keyword research and it looks to me like this would be a really nice niche site.
You can come up with a variety of content from installation, guides to cost, and feature comparison articles. I would highly recommend that you set up a Youtube channel along with the blog to push traffic to the site.
The monetization options for this site, you can find a lot of affiliate options over Amazon.
So these were the trending blog niches where you can rank up for… now it's time to take the action and decide whether you're going with home offices or traveling with pets?.
