In 2015 August, Lenovo announced that except for ZUK, the other mobile phones would be folded by Motorola Mobility, and no other phone wouldn't launch by the name Lenovo.

Micromax has been out of producing smartphones for many years. But even though it is holding its reputation of best mobile till now. The main reason for the downfall of Micromax is Reliance 4G mobiles. Before the arrival of jio, Micromax ruled a majority of people in India.

In May 2019, Sony company announced to stop producing smartphones in India due to fewer sales. The major disadvantage of Sony mobile is expensive. They had a bad relationship with the mobile carriers. They also tried to compete with Apple that makes sony lose its market, even in the USA, UK, and Japan.

Accessories maker iBall also attempted to make budget smartphones to target rural areas. They wanted to launch high-quality Smartphones, But the intense competition from Chinese brands like Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo, and others made it difficult to survive. Sandeep Parasrampuria founded the company in September 2001.
# VIDEOCON Mobile Phones;
Videocon launched various smartphones with offered able prices.
Venugopal Dhoot founded the company in 1979. They reached a net income of ₹1,915.67 crores. But they failed to reach out to the customer's taste. They tried out in many varieties of publishing their product, but they stopped manufacturing their smartphones due to unusual occurrences, and they ended their production in India.
# BlackBerry;
BlackBerry made a mark with its QWERTY smartphones among office goers in India and globally. But with the rising popularity of Android and iOS, the company couldn't keep up. BlackBerry Mobile ultimately shut down after August 2020 with the expiry of its contract with manufacturing partner TCL.

In April 2021, LG Electronics announced that it is closing its mobile business unit. Despite launching innovative handsets globally, LG couldn't make it big in the smartphone market. The company said that it would provide service support and software updates for users of existing mobile phones for some time.
# Panasonic;

Bhupendra Kumar Modi is a founder of a spice company. Spice Mobiles was a Popular Indian smartphone brand that operated in the budget segment. But the company had to shut down due to intense competition from other players.
