1. Do not break Tulsi on Ekadashi day-

Breaking Tulsi leaves on any Ekadashi, night, Sunday, lunar eclipse, and solar eclipse is considered a sin. It is believed that breaking Tulsi leaves on these days does not give the fruits of worship and brings bad luck to the house. Apart from this, water should not be offered to the Tulsi plant on Sundays.

 

2. Do not break Tulsi leaves with nails 

If you have a Tulsi plant in your house, then never keep it in the dark. Please keep it in an open place and light a lamp near it in the evening. Always take permission with folded hands before plucking basil leaves. Tulsi should not be broken with the help of nails.

4. Do not throw dry leaves-

5. Do not keep dry Tulsi plant in the house-

If the Tulsi plant dries up, throw it in a holy river, well, or any lake. Keeping a dry Tulsi plant in the house is inauspicious and brings bad luck to the family members.

 

6. Do not plant in the south-east direction-

Tulsi plant should never be planted in the south-east direction. This direction is considered to be the direction of fire. Therefore, avoid planting the Tulsi plant in this direction. Tulsi plants should not be planted in the ground. For encouraging results, the Tulsi plant should always be produced in a pot.

 

7. Do not keep these things near Tulsi plant-

Tulsi plants should be kept in a clean place. The area around the plant should be open, and there should not be any cover or dirty things like clutter, mop, broom, etc. Tulsi plant should not be kept with any thorny plant.
