Top 7 Kitchen Ingredients Beneficial for Beauty

1. Bananas: bananas are great for your hair and scalp. They improve manageability and shine, prevent and control dandruff, and moisturize your scalp. Bananas are rich in potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates, and vitamins, which help soften the hair and protect the hair's natural elasticity, preventing split ends and breakage.

2. Ginger: Ginger helps to boost hair growth in three ways. Its warming and stimulating effects increase scalp circulation and encourage healthy hair growth. Ginger contains antioxidant gingerol, which neutralizes hair damaging free radical and thus save your hair from thinning.

3. Rice water: Rice water is so good for your skin because it is rich in many nutrients. For starters, around 16 percent of its composition consists of proteins which are the building blocks of skin cells. It is also enriched with triglycerides, lipids, and starch, which are all responsible for enhancing skin health in various ways. Carbohydrates, inositol, phytic acid, and inorganic substances make up the rest of the composition, making rice water an ideal DIY ingredient for glowing skin.

4. Tomatoes: When it comes to skin care, tomatoes are one of my favorite and most effective remedies for clear and clean skin. These humble robust red balls are full of nutrients and highly effective in healing and clarifying the skin. Slightly acidic in nature, tomatoes contain high potassium and vitamin C; this transforms the dullest of skins and restores glow to the skin. Tomatoes also have lycopene, which is an antioxidant that helps fight free radicals in the body. It also helps treat skin problems related to aging and sun damage, making it a great skin rejuvenator.

5. onion juice: When added to the hair and scalp, onion juice can provide extra sulfur to support strong and thick hair, thus preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. The sulfur from onions may also help promote collagen production. Collagen, in turn, helps the production of healthy skin cells and hair growth.

Onion juice is a known remedy for hair health, specifically for hair loss. It’s been used for decades as a home treatment.

6.  Honey: Honey is a great natural hair product that can be used by itself or incorporated into other natural hair treatments. It can promote cell growth, help to retain moisture, and restore nutrients to the hair and scalp. It may even help alleviate inflammatory skin conditions when used with other therapies.

7.  Toothpaste: If you wonder whether or not toothpaste makes your lips pink, The answer is that it does make your lips pink.  Always use the toothpaste that it works as an irritant, which gives you soft pink lips. However, these homemade remedies are incomplete without using a toothbrush, as it stimulates the blood flow in the lips, which not only lightens your dark lips but also exfoliates the dead skin cells.

Apply non-gel, non-whitening toothpaste to your pimple. The toothpaste dehydrates the pimple and absorbs its oil. So, it should be dried up by morning. Note that this method works best on pimples that have come to a head and may irritate sensitive skin.
