Southeast Asia and Oceania's Indonesia, formerly known as the Republic of Indonesia, is located between the Indian and Pacific oceans. Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and portions of Borneo and New Guinea are among the more than 17,000 islands that make up this archipelago. With an area of 1,904,569 square kilometers, Indonesia is the largest archipelago state in the world and the fourteenth-largest country overall (735,358 square miles). Indonesia, which has a population of over 275 million, is the fourth-most populous nation in the world and the largest Muslim-majority nation. More over half of the people in the nation live in Java, the island with the highest population in the world. In Indonesia, the legislature is chosen by the president. There are 38 provinces in it, nine of which have special status. The second-most populous urban area in the world is Jakarta, the capital of the Nation.
2) Turkey
Turkey, commonly known as Türkiye, is a nation that enjoys a special geographic location because it is split between Asia and Europe. It has served as a barrier and a bridge connecting the two continents throughout its history. Turkey is located at the intersection of the Caucasus, the Middle East, the Balkans, and the eastern Mediterranean. In terms of people and territory, it is one of the bigger nations in the area, and its land area is larger than any nation in Europe. The vast majority of the nation is located in Asia; it is made up of the rectangular Asia Minor peninsula, also known as Anatolia (Anatole), and, in the east, a portion of the hilly area commonly referred to as the Armenian Highland. Turkish Thrace (Tray), the only remaining piece of Turkish Thrace, is located in the far southeast of Europe.

The westernmost nation in North Africa's Maghreb region is Morocco, officially the Kingdom of Morocco. It shares land boundaries with Algeria to the east, the Western Sahara, a disputed region, to the south, and it looks out onto the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The Western Sahara is bordered by Mauritania to the south. Along with other smaller Spanish-controlled islands off its coast, Morocco also claims the Spanish exclaves of Ceuta, Mozilla, and Leon de Velez de la Camera. There are approximately 37 million people living there, who are spread across an area of 446,300 km2 (172,300 sq mi)[18] or 710,850 km2 (274,460 sq mi)[b]. Arabic and Berber, a Moroccan dialect of Arabic, are the country's official languages. Islam is the official and predominant religion.
4) Egypt
Egypt, also known by its Arabic name the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a transcontinental nation that connects Asia's southwest and Africa's northeast by a land bridge created by the Sinai Peninsula. The Mediterranean Sea, the Gaza Strip of Palestine and Israel, the Red Sea, Sudan, and Libya from its northern, eastern, southern, and western borders, respectively. Egypt is separated from Jordan and Saudi Arabia in the northeast by the Gulf of Arab. Egypt's capital and largest city is Cairo, but Alexandria, at the Mediterranean coast's second-largest city, is a significant industrial and tourist center. Egypt is the 14th most populous nation in the world, with almost 100 million people.
5) Iran
Iran, also known as Persia and formerly known as the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a nation in Western Asia. It shares borders with Iraq to the west, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, the Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan to the north, the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman to the east, and Iraq to the south. It is the 17th-largest country by area, spanning 1.64 million square kilometers (0.63 million square miles). With 86 million people, Iran is the second-largest nation in the Middle East and the 17th most populous country overall.
6) Saudi Arabia
Western Asia's Saudi Arabia, often known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), is a sovereign state. With a land area of about 2,150,000 km2 (830,000 sq mi), which makes up the majority of the Arabian Peninsula, it is the second-largest Arab nation, the largest in Western Asia, and the Middle East. It is also the fifth-largest country in Asia. The Red Sea, Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait border it on the west; the Persian Gulf, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates border it on the east; Oman borders it on the southeast; and Yemen borders it on the south. The island nation of Bahrain is located off the east coast. Egypt and Saudi Arabia are separated by the Gulf of Arab in the northwest. Only Saudi Arabia has a nuclear arsenal.
7) Pakistan
Pakistan, officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a nation in South Asia. With about 243 million inhabitants, it is the fifth most populous nation in the world and is home to the second-largest Muslim population in the world, just after Indonesia. Pakistan is the second-largest country in South Asia and the 33rd-largest country in the world by area, covering 881,913 square kilometers (340,509 square miles). It is surrounded by India to the east, Afghanistan to the west, Iran to the southwest, and China to the northeast. It has a 1,046-kilometer (650-mile) coastline along the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman in the south.
