Whenever you have some strange pain or do not feel well from inside, the first thing to do is go to the doctor. It is expected that doctors catch any disease quickly and tell its treatment. However, you will be surprised to know that even doctors do not understand some of the patients' symptoms. Let us know which diseases are; in getting to the bottom; even doctors are often confused.
Irritable bowel syndrome-
Irritable bowel syndrome causes pain in the lower abdomen and changes in bathroom habits, which lasts for three months. It takes time for doctors to find out the correct information because they also have to know whether lactose intolerance, celiac disease, or any bacterial infection.
Celiac disease-
The gluten protein found in wheat, barley, and rye is not digested by anyone, spoiling the digestive system. Due to this, diarrhea, fatigue, and weight loss often occur. Apart from this, you may also have joint pain, rashes, headache, depression, and seizures. All these symptoms are also ulcers, Crohn's disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. For this, doctors detect celiac disease with a blood test and a small piece of intestine.
Appendicitis-
This occurs when your appendix (small sac attached to the intestine) becomes inflamed. Due to this, there is severe pain around the navel. It starts suddenly, and gradually, its pain moves downwards. It can also cause nausea, vomiting, fever, constipation, or diarrhea. Appendicitis may not be detected immediately as doctors feel the same in Crohn's disease, pelvic inflammation, and colitis. To diagnose appendicitis, doctors have to do some physical examination.
Hypothyroidism-
This condition occurs when your thyroid starts making too much thyroxine hormone. You may feel nervous, upset, or irritable. There is a kind of mood disorder in this. If you feel symptoms like rapid heartbeat, sudden weight loss, they also tell the doctor. Through blood tests, doctors find out whether you have hypothyroidism or not.
Sleep Apnea-
This happens when your breathing stops while sleeping and you start walking on your own. Due to this, your mouth begins drying, sore throat, morning headache, and irritability. However, all these symptoms can also be due to flu, cold or other conditions. To identify this, doctors have to conduct a sleep study in which the patient's brain activity, heart rate, breathing, and oxygen level are checked. Doctors also see whether you snore while sleeping or not.
Fibromyalgia-
Fibromyalgia causes severe pain in the body. There is no test for this, so doctors determine whether you are getting this pain due to arthritis, lupus, or other reasons. Doctors also try to diagnose depression if there is a problem with sleep or a mental effect. It is only when all these things are not found that doctors start treating your fibromyalgia.
Parkinson's disease-
In this disease, brain cells do not work as they should. There may be hand tremors, neck stiffness, balance problems, and your face looks different. However, these can be signs of stroke, head injury, Alzheimer's disease, and even stress. However, there is no test for this, too, so doctors can take years to detect it correctly.
