The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is not just a Lenovo laptop; it is one of the best laptops on the market. Ideal for business users and students or everyday users looking for a lightweight machine, the X1 Carbon weighs more than 2 pounds but brings faster performance to the military-tested chassis. The only consumer set X1 Carbon is not compatible with those budgets and gamers.
If you want to save money, the ThinkBook 13s is another great option. It has fast speed, a comfortable keyboard, and decent battery life. If you prefer a consumer-friendly laptop rather than a commercial one, the Lenovo Yoga 9i is a brighter and different option than the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 or HP Specter x360 14. If you need a fully portable business laptop, you should also add the new ThinkPad X1 Nano to your list.
For gamers, the Legion Y740 and Legion Y7000 are good choices and, depending on your setting; they can play the latest AAA games. And if you’re on a very tight budget, the Chromebook Duet is a beautiful 2-in-1 available that sells for just $ 279.
1. LENOVO THINK PAD X1 CARBON (9TH GENERATION):
Lenovo has repeatedly made a welcome change to the 9th Gen model of its flagship business model. In addition to the fast performance from 11th Gen Intel CPUs, you get epic battery life, powerful quad speakers, a new 14-inch display with a 16:10 ratio, and multiple ports, all in a lightweight case (2.5 pounds).
But there are still those old features of ThinkPad - a solid design (powerful MIL-STD-810G), a high-quality keyboard, and a smooth black/red beauty - that handle the size of the X1 Carbon.
Yes, we wish the ThinkPad X1 Carbon would not disable the previous SD card reader, and high-end configurations can be very expensive. Still, you can be hard-pressed to find a better general business machine.
2. LENOVO YOGA 9i:
Following the excellent Yoga C940, the Lenovo Yoga 9i takes a proven formula and fixes it. The development of subtle design, long battery life (11:15), and 11th Gen Intel processors made Yoga 9i a perfect fan for one of the top 2-in-1 laptops last year.
As you would expect from a Yoga series laptop, the Yoga 9i has a premium, portable chassis with a unique double-hinge as a rotating soundbar speaker. Like 2-in-1, that hinge can rotate 360 degrees to convert Yoga 9i to a tablet or set to tent mode so you can watch movies without a keyboard on the go. Yoga 9i's 1080p (4K available) is crisp, lively, and bright when it comes to content views. My favorite things about the Yoga 9i are its additional features, including a webcam cover (no need to buy tape), a used Active Pen, and a fingerprint sensor for all the right bases. Unfortunately, there is no IR camera.
3. LENOVO THINKPAD X13(AMD):
Lenovo business laptop for less than $ 1,000? Time to talk to your IT manager. The budget-friendly ThinkPad X13 with AMD chips brings some of the best features of the ThinkPad catalog at a much lower price than we are used to.
Those features include a portable, compact chassis with military-grade durability, a prominent keyboard, and many safety features, including a fingerprint sensor and an IR camera. And thanks to its AMD Ryzen CPUs, the ThinkPad X13 has good performance at this price. The only major downside is lower battery life, but about 8 hours is not bad.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is always a portable Lenovo computer if you can afford it, but the ThinkPad X13 is a much better, cheaper option.
4. LENOVO THINKPAD X1 YOGA (5TH GENERATION):
Lenovo took advantage of the ThinkPad X1 Yoga, the first metal ThinkPad, and it had a positive effect. While we still love the matte-black carbon fiber found in most ThinkPads, aluminum, and magnesium, ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a good speed changer. Not only does it have a slim design, but this 2-in-1 static display with a bright display and provides a high-quality keyboard with long battery life. This includes making the Lenovo laptop the best for anyone who wants a modification.
You also get a lot of offers, such as stylus slot design and webcam cover. We still love the ThinkPad X1 Carbon with its lightweight chassis, but you should get Yoga instead if you want to use a pen. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga treads things with a solid but lightweight design if you want something different.
5. LENOVO THINKPAD X1 EXTREME (3RD GENERATION):
Lenovo's high-end consumer business computer, ThinkPad X1 Extreme (Gen 2), has a jaw-dropping 15.6-inch 4K HDR display and blazingly performance fast thanks to its 9th Gen Core i7 CPU and SSD quick. The elegant and durable design combined with the excellent keyboard makes the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Hardware one of the most attractive features.

It gets the deal with the screen trading of wealth. However, its 13-inch, 2K panel is beautiful, and the 16:10 scale makes the size smaller.
In addition, the X1 Nano operates on its 11th Gen Intel CPU, and its 12 hours of battery life is confusing considering the high-res screen and ultra-lightweight design.
There are a few downsides to consider, such as its limited ports and a small touchpad, but overall, the X1 Nano gains what Lenovo has set out to do - bringing everything you already love with the ThinkPad brand to the smallest package yet.
7. LENOVO THINKPAD X12 DETACHABLE:
The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable, in short, is a better version of Surface Pro 7. It has the same usable form factor and uses a rotating kickstand to the same 160-degree angle. The 12.3-inch display is almost identical to the Surface, and, like the Pro 7, the available keyboard is amazing. You even get the strength of the military distances from its solid chassis.
Why is it better than Surface Pro 7 and Pro 7+? Because the ThinkPad X12 Detachable lasts longer on a charge, can withstand more than 11 hours, and weighs slightly less than its competitor magnesium alloy. Best of all, the X12 Detachable comes in bulk with a keyboard and pen, though you’ll need to use a good penny for these business-focused findings.
If you need good speakers or a USB port type, you may go with Surface Pro 7. Otherwise, we choose X12 Detachable.
