Did you know that your life can be better and happier while you are traveling?
The world is a book and those who don't read just a page.
Saint Augustine
According to Saint Augustine's above quote, we find that the world is like a book and that everyone has already read it, yet the page, and to read other pages, you have to start or keep going.
As we go along, we need to agree on something; you will find another good reason why you should not go and say that you do not have enough money, time or that you are not interested in reading the other pages of this fascinating book, entitled ‘The World.’
Here the pages refer to different parts of the world. And like the pages of a book, the whole place is full of exciting stories of people, features, birds, and animals, but how can you try to find the mystery of world news if you don't go?
Maybe it’s not your fault that you don’t visit new places, but one thing I do know is the landowner. So, if you own the land, you may have your book, but keep the book you are reading on only one page; I tell you for free, that is a bad reading habit.
Remember, Santa Augustine doesn't give you a page that you will read if you don't go. It can be in the middle of a book, the first page, or the end. Imagine opening a book at random and reading any page? I repeat to you, that is a bad habit of reading.
Walking is the act of moving from one place to another. You can walk or take a trip by road, air, overseas for fun, looking for a job, preaching, or exploring places.
It doesn't matter if you go for a walk, it's better to have a lot of fun. You understand other people's culture and history, make new friends, new stories, and new encounters, thus building positive memories in your life.
Studies show that visiting has health benefits, including stress and anxiety and reducing the risk of heart disease, and improving your overall well-being; that is, your body and mind.
Look, you take a long trip in the sun in the morning when you visit a place. As you spend some time walking in the sun, it will improve your vitamin D levels, improve your mood, and at the same time, you will exercise your body.
Therefore, there is a need to make time; however, busy can be. Plan and visit a new city at least once or twice a year, and as you travel, be sure to be free from your daily pressures, legal duties, or any daily incarceration.
The following are the significant benefits of visiting and visiting new places:
7. Walking Makes You Confident and Independent
Walking can boost your self-esteem; How so? We’ve just discussed how challenges can force you to be creative, and it takes courage to try something new.
We look for people who are more confident without self-confidence and less creative. When you try something new and work, you learn to trust yourself.
Challenges That Can Increase Your Self-Confidence
You may only encounter these challenges if you are a traveler.
Conversation, especially when local people do not speak your native language. You find yourself alone in an unfamiliar area; you need courage as you roam to find a way out. You ask for directions, and you are taken to a local chief, who seems unfriendly; How do you deal with this situation? You are hungry, but food does not fit your culture or beliefs. Will you eat or not? Horror stories about the places you visit, such as the three-headed beast from only the visitors, but discovering that it was not valid.
To find yourself in such a situation, you cannot rely on friends or relatives, but on yourself. And this is the way you go that forces you to be strategic; you learn to deal with obstacles, and you gain confidence as you deal with challenges.
6. Travel Builds Memories Of Life And Experience.
I have never appreciated more times in my life than I have ever been. No matter how short your journey was, I am sure it left a lasting impression.
How Travel Creates Memories and Experiences
These are the things you will never encounter without traveling.
When you travel, you meet people who may affect your health and your thinking. Some of them may even be lifelong friends on your trip, and you can learn new skills that you may want to try at home. And every time you use that skill, it reminds you of where you first discovered it, and it is an opportunity to try jobs you have never tried or will not try at home. They are at home.
Do you have a photo album? Open it, and you will see that before long, you will smile or frown. Photos will remind you of your happy past and low memories. So, as you travel, remember to take pictures and record your experiences for future use.
5. Travel Helps You Collect News
I link this point with the previous one about memories and formative experiences on the journey. Memories are just stories. Parents and caregivers can see how much children love stories.
To find them, travel is an excellent time to gather quick and exciting things at hand that eventually become essential stories to share with your friends and children and grandchildren.
4. Travel Helps to Understand Other Cultures
Are you a person who loves to travel, or should you start your travels? You will agree with me that if you read or watch the news on TV about the mystery of a particular culture and visit the region, you will be surprised to find that the information lacked many details about that place.
We travel for various reasons, yes, but those who travel have a deeper understanding of other cultures; you expand your mind to the point of bias and learn to tolerate and value different people.
3. Travel Helps You To Get Practical Education And Practical Knowledge
Real education is memorable and informative because you can see through it, and memories are part of what you are.
We fill the textbooks with Google with facts and stories about the world, that, by imagining, we can visit places, meet new people, and exchange ideas, yes. However, facts about earth's features and creatures can only be heard, sounded, tasted, or felt when you reach them physically.
When you’re hungry, you can’t learn all the facts about food to fill your empty stomach; you need real food. To walk, go touch and hear Kakamega's dry stone.
2. Travel Helps You to Understand Yourself
Traveling takes you out of your daily routine and forces you to deal with uncertainty. Once you have the challenges, you can see how much you have the strength to adapt.
Challenges can also help you to understand your strengths and weaknesses. Imagine that you are on a journey, and your leader falls. This is where you test your limits; you learn ‘first aid,’ lead your members, and you immediately understand whether you can be a great leader or not.
The above are just two examples that can help you to understand. Discover more about your true identity, travel, and accept challenges.
1. Traveling Increases the Love of Your Home
"East or West, home is the best." Wendy Wunder said, "The amazing thing about home is that it's fun to leave, and it sounds better to come back." If you have ever been away and returned to your home, you understand what these words mean.
Finally, I would say, Living in a place you don't know much is like listening to a song with a familiar theme, but you don't know the lyrics.
The world is full of exciting stories, a much better place than what you see on TV, and that’s why you need to travel. Travel is healthy, and you don’t want that unhealthy life. After that, book your ticket, pack your bags, and sacrifice.
