1) Fastest fifty:-
K. L. Rahul
K. L. Rahul reaches the current record for the fastest fifty mark in IPL. He beat the record made by Yusuf Pathan in 2014. K. L. Rahul scored his half-century in 14 balls with the help of 6 fours and three sixes against Delhi Daredevils in IS Bindra Stadium when he was a captain of Punjab Kings 11.
2) Fastest five – wickets haul:-
Fastest five wickets takers in IPL
Jaydev Unadkat and James Faulker took the fastest five -wickets twice in IPL against Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both took their five -wickets haul in the same year that in 2013 for the first time. Amazingly, James Faulker took another five-wicket haul in the same year against the same team in 2013. At the same time, Jaydev Unadkat took another five-wicket haul in 2017 against sunrises Hyderabad.
3) Most times title-winning team in IPL:-
Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians is the most successful team and won 5 titles.
The first title was won against CSK by 23 runs in 2013.
second title against the same team CSK by 41 runs in 2015.
Third title against Rising Pune Supergiants by one run in 2017.
Fourth title against CSK by one run in 2019.
The fifth title was won against Delhi Capitals by 5-wickets in 2020.
Mumbai Indians won most of its titles against CSK. Mumbai Indians won all these titles under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
4) Highest team score in IPL:-
RCB
Royal challengers Bangalore (RCB) scored 263/5 in 2013 against Pune warriors with a run rate of 13.15 in their home ground Bangalore. It is the first team which made their score higher than 200, that is precisely nine times. Out of 9 times, five times, it made their highest score in their home ground Bangalore. And they were remaining four times, 1 in Mumbai against Mumbai Indians, one time in Delhi against Delhi daredevils, one time in Kolkata against Kolkata, one time in Rajkot against kings Punjab.
5) Highest Individual score in IPL:-
Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle scored the highest score of 175 (not out) in the first season of IPL. He faced only 66 balls. Out of 175 runs, most runs are scored in the form of fours and sixes. He made 13 fours and 17 sixes; that is, 154 runs are scored easily through fours and sixes with the highest strike rate, 265.15 against warriors in their home ground Bangalore in 2013. Most of these team members made their centuries in IPL in their home ground Bangalore and played a pivotal role to won the match.
6) Most runs in a series:-
Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli scored the most runs, 973 in the 2016 series. A record runs from only one string, and others never beat this record. He just played 16 matches in that series. Out of 973 runs, most of the runs are scored by centuries. He faced 640 balls in that season. He did four centuries, seven half-centuries, 83 fours, and 36 sixes. He is the first player and the first captain to score 973 runs in only one season in IPL, and he holds the orange cap in that season. He is the captain of RCB. But unfortunately, this team didn’t win the title even once.
