There are many articles and videos all over the internet about the ways to get rid of acne, but not the reasons why acne is caused. That is why here I am about to mention a few reasons why acne is caused and how you can prevent them. This is my first article hope you guys would like it. Make sure to read all the points to know why acne is caused. I didn't mention all the reasons why acne would be caused, but I mentioned the top 6 reasons in this article. This applies to both men and women.
1. Dehydration
An average person should drink around 3 to 3.5 liters of water per day. Drinking water helps in removing the toxins from the body and makes you hydrated, therefore preventing acne. Make sure to drink enough water, especially if you work out.
2. Not changing your pillowcases
Just think of the amount of time you spend on your bed. The oils in your body and hair accumulate on the pillows and bedsheet, and you sleep on those greasy pillowcases rubbing your face all over it, causing acne. It will help if you wash your pillowcases and sheets atleast every two weeks.
3. Eating junk food
Now having cheat days or junk food once in a while is alright. But having really oily foods and drinks would increase the heat in your body, causing pimples. So having a healthy diet would be a good way to have clear skin and look healthy.
4. Not showering after exercising
While exercising, you sweat a lot and release some toxins and also probably be dehydrated. So taking a shower after your workout is essential to prevent acne.
5. Not having a good skincare routine
By a good skincare routine, I don't mean a 10 step routine. Washing your face with a good face wash, moisturizing your face, and exfoliating 2-3 times per week will do wonders for your face. The facewash that I use is clean and clear morning energy. Now I'm not sponsoring or recommending it. I use that facewash.
6. Constantly touching your face
Just imagine where you place your hands the whole day and how much ugly your hands are really. Touching your face with those hands would release dirt and bacteria on your face, which would cause pimples with puss in it and sometimes inflammation. Even if you are touching your face, use tissue paper or wash your hands properly with soap before touching your face.
Since you have read all the above points, I'm also about to mention a bonus tip, one of the important things you should have in your skincare routine.
Bonus tip: Use a sunscreen of a minimum SPF 30 before stepping out of your home. That would protect you from the sun's harmful rays and prevent any acne or sunburns on your face or body.
Hope the above points are useful to you. These are some of those few things that people do and don't realize how easy it would cause pimples, whiteheads, and acne. If you follow the above points, you can prevent acne and even reduce the ones you have right now. Make sure to share my article if you liked it.
Have a nice day. Peace.
Good one✌️
