It would be a paradise for nature and birds lovers to learn about marvelous, charming, and vivid birds in the world. The shape, cuteness, colors, and beauty of the birds attract everyone. It seems marvelous to look at.

                      Therefore, let’s talk about the TOP 6: graceful, dazzling, and deep-colored birds in the world. We would talk from top 6th to top 1st bird.    

 

MANDARIN DUCK

MANDARIN DUCK, which is widely regarded as the world’s most beautiful and colorful duck. The Mandarin duck is the species of Perching duck. It is a native of China & Japan. It is also found in Russia, Europe, and North America. The length of the Mandarin duck is 8 – 14 inches, and its weight is 6-7 grams.

                                Primarily, it is found near ponds, rivers & lakes. As it is an omnivores duck, it consumes both plants & animals. Mostly, it consumes insects, worms, snakes, small fish, and frogs.

                                 Mandarin duck is considered as a sign of fidelity and love in China and Korea. Due to its unique colors, it fascinates everyone. These ducks live in groups & these groups are known as flocks, rafts, and teams. In species of Mandarin duck, the male duck is known as drake, and the female duck is known as a hen.

Due to deforestation, the species of Mandarin duck is going to vanish.

 

HYACINTH MACAW

HYACINTH MACAW is a parrot native to central and eastern South America. It is examined as the world’s largest parrot, with a length of 1m from the tip of its tail to the top of its head.

                              They have stunning cobalt color all over their body, with a ring of amazing bright yellow around their eye and the same color yellow at the base and the corners of their beak. In addition, macaws are playful and inquisitive and can mimic human vocalizations very well. Macaws can reach flight speeds of up to 56 km per hour.

                               The life span of macaws is about 50 – 80 years. They have powerful connections with each other. They prefer to do everything in pairs and are very loyal to their partners.

                               Due to its strong beak, macaws are kept in strong cages. Moreover, their beaks carry 200 pounds of pressure per square inch – that means that they could snap a broomstick in half with one crunch. So, they prefer to eat nuts.

 

 

  1. WILSON’S BIRD–OF–PARADISE

WILSON’S BIRD – OF - PARADISE is small and exotic. It is a species of a passerine bird. An Indonesian endemic, Wilson’s bird – of – paradise is distributed to the hill, and lowland rainforests of was ego and Batanta islands off West Papua. Their length can reach 6.3 inches, and their weight can be 1.8 to 2.2 ounces.

                                   Even though males and females are of the same size, but their bodies are differently colored. This phenomenon is known as sexual dimorphism. Males are more deep and bright colored as compared to females.

                                   Wilson’s bird–of – paradise is an omnivore. Therefore, it consumes fruits and small insects. The lifespan of this bird is unknown.

                   This bird is colorful, small, cute, and attractive. Therefore, everyone feels groovy to look at it.

 

  1. RAINBOW LORIKEET

RAINBOW LORIKEET   is a species of parrot. It is a native of Australia. The size of the rainbow lorikeet can be 15 - 18 inches from head to tail. It is unmistakable with its bright red beak and colorful plumage.

                                        Lorikeets are intelligent and can be trained; some even talk. It is the playful bird that makes a powerful bond with human beings. To make them socialize, we should spend time with lorikeets and play with them. It will help if you put toys in their cage. They are very lovable and affectionate. How do you know if lorikeets like you? – They cuddle with you, they groom u, and they bow their heads.

                                      Male and female lorikeets are of the same colors. So, we can’t visually recognize them. Only by DNA test can we recognize them.

                               It does not take the feed like other normal parrots. Lorikeets prefer to eat pollen, nectar, and liquid food like watermelon, pumpkin, etc. The lifespan of lorikeets is about 30 – 35 years.

 

 

  1. NORTHERN CARDINAL

NORTHERN CARDINALS is a bird in the genus cardinals; it is also known as colloquially as the redbird. The Northern cardinal is so well-loved it has been named the official state bird of no fewer than seven U.S states. The length of the cardinal can reach 9 – 10 inches.

                               Due to their different colors, Male and female cardinals can recognize very easily. The color of the male cardinal is bright red, and the female cardinal looks light brown. Cardinals are monogamous, and pairs stay together year-round.

                              Cardinals eat weed, sunflower seeds, grains, and fruits. They prefer seeds that are easily husked because of their strong beak. They also prefer to eat insects.

Cardinals are fairly social, and they like to live in flocks. They sing at the time of morning and evening. Due to their singing skill, they are the world’s most beautiful and lovable birds.

                              The average lifespan of cardinals is approximately 3 years due to hazards they face, including predators, disease, and accidents.

 

  1. GOLDEN PHEASANT

GOLDEN PHEASANT is a game bird of order Galliformes. It is also known as Chinese pheasant and rainbow pheasant. The shape, hardy nature, and beautiful plumage of the golden pheasant fascinate everyone. It is native to forests in mountainous areas of China.

                                 The male golden pheasant averages 45 – 50 inches, while the female only averages about 26 inches. The weight of a golden pheasant can be 700 grams to 1 kg. The wingspan is around 70 cm.

                                 Male ring – necks feature a white ring around their neck with gold, brown, green, purple, and white body plumage. A rooster’s head has plumage of blue and green with a distinctive red wattle. Females are much less showy with drab brown features.

                                They tend to eat berries, grubs, seeds, and other types of vegetation. The average lifespan of a golden pheasant is 5 – 6 years. However, captive birds that are well taken care of could live 15 or even 20 years.
