It is filled with beautiful words and wonderful interactions, and its colorful characters are equally humorous, believable, and compassionate. ”Very high praise!

Psychonauts 2 is a quirky platformer with many beautiful characters - you play as a Raz, an acrobat, and a trained psychic who has joined a high team of psychic spies - Psychonauts. Jump, check, and complete the mission in an attempt to defeat the villain in a fictional and memorable story; as Dustin puts it, "this is a wonderful Double Fine game."

2. HUMANITY:

From the studio behind Endless Legend comes a new historical strategy game based on evolution, Humankind. The game is divided into seven periods instead of choosing one historical empire and controlling their journey from stone tools to supercomputers. Each human leader chooses a different culture to incorporate into that era. The story of your people may involve handling the seas as Norsemen in the Middle Ages and building beautiful cities like the Mughals in the early modern era.

Whichever course you choose, the purpose of this game is to discover the most human history at the end of the game, which can be found in many ways. When you undoubtedly clash with your rival nations, human warfare is much deeper - as Rich explains in his review of Humankind, “You can overcome two to one-on-one disagreements by using local wisdom and consolidation, and it sounds good and historically accurate to come out. ”

3. MAINTENANCE:

In the underground world, located in the very suburbs of The Ascent, you play as an employee in the next cyberpunk city, where everything is owned by the Ascent Group - until one day, when it falls, and you have to figure out how to survive. It is an isometric-RPG action with many enemies cutting and cracking using flesh guns, used robots, and additional hacking.

In his review of The Ascent, Jordan explains that “as a twin-stick driver with bright RPG equipment, The Ascent is a perfect example of how aggressive dress and shooting can take you.”

4. CHRONICLES OF CHIEF OFFICERS:

However, fans of the Phoenix Wright game will feel right at home resolving these deadly cases, all while rubbing their fingers and shouting ‘opposition’ over their lungs.

5. HELL, LET US GO:

Stop at WWII battlefields, and Hell Let Loose is a multi-player FPS strategy game where two bosses each manage a team of 50 players and decide where the teams go and where the goods are distributed. As part of the force, soldiers must coordinate and direct their movements, deploy troops and locate enemy territory.

In his review of Hell Let Loose, Ian concludes that "the complex integration of FPS action and real-time strategic planning rewards communication, coordination, and true leadership in the way a few other games can try."

6. STAGE PERIOD 2:

In the land of Monster Hunter, not all killers and insults - alongside the titular hunters, there are also horse riders who can form bonds with a group of friendly 'monsters. And then you go wandering around and breaking through, that's right. There’s no gore, but you’re harvesting your monsters to build a superpower team, but - as Jordan explains to him in Monster Hunter Stories 2 Review - the story is lovely, “full of warmth and doing good.” His general conclusion is that "while the repetition of its turn-based war strategy can be frustrating, Monster Hunter Stories 2 is more than a novel deviation from the main parts of the series".
