To explore, we can unfold the genres instead of language, which would be better because masterpieces cannot be viewed if we regard language. When it comes to the matter of masterpieces, it is none other than history and love. Let’s get to love later and dwell on history for now.
Historical movies, what a pleasant way to learn the great past of our or any other land and at times it would also spare us a boring lecture of history class. When it comes to India’s greatest history, it all begins with Indus flowing from devas to asuras, kings of various descent, and invasions of Persians, Afghans, French, Mughals, and finally British. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a 2019 Telugu film directed by Surrender Reddy. The story is set about in the pre-independence era, influenced by the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The movies show the activists’ fight against the rule of the British East India Company. This movie is really a magnum opus movie, the story of unsung hero Uyalawada Narasimha Reddy, climax scene giving goosebumps with a great screenplay by acting highlights of megastar Chiranjeevi and Kiccha Sudeep. Every frame is designed like a beautiful painting. Hats off to director Surendar Reddy and producer Ram Charan for bringing out an amazing film of our Indians' proud first freedom fighter.
5. BAJI RAO MASTANI
Bajirao Mastani is a 2015 Indian Hindi movie directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles is a romantic genre epic. The story is based on the Marathi novel Raau by Nagnath S. Inamdar. The film narrates the unconditional love between the Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao (1700-1740 AD) and his second wife, Mastani. The storyline in the movie is, instead of being married to Kashibai, he falls in love with Mastani, who belongs to a different religion. Their love shows that love is beyond everything. He gets married to Mastani, too. Society never accepts their love or marriage due to the caste system.
4. JODHA AKBAR
Jodha Akbar is a 2008 Hindi cinema directed by Ashutosh Gowariker with Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Kul Bhushan Kharbanda, Ila Arun in lead roles. The romantic movie is set in the 16th century exhibiting the love of a Mughal emperor and a Rajput princess. Simultaneously the movie also brings out the wars of the century the emperor fought. On the whole, it is a historic, timeless Saga about Union and religious unity. It is also a great cinematic way to show Akbar's actual, real-life historical tolerance of India's other religions and ethnic groups.
3. MAGADHEERA
Magadheera is a 2009 Telugu movie directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The movie has Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles setting out this romantic fantasy fiction. The film describes the love story between Harsha and Indu in the present, whereas it also describes their previous life as Kaala Bhairava and Mithra Vinda Devi. When Harsha realizes Indu was Princess Mithra Vindha Devi in the past life and she was his love life, he decides to convince that both were deeply in love with each other, and that is when by the time she was killed by Indu's cruel distant cousin Raghuveer in the past.

Padmaavat is a 2018 Hindi epic period drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie leads with Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, setting out in 1303 A.D. The story brings out the value of privilege, bravery, and obsession. The movie depicts the bold nature of Rajput queen Padmavati and the wife of Ratan Singh. She is well known for her adorable beauty, who tries to save her kingdom and her king from the veil, and cunning Mughal emperor Alauddin Khalji, who is obsessed with her beauty. Finally, due to the treachery, when Ratan Singh is killed in the battle, the whole Rajput women perform Jauhar (mass suicide by jumping into the fire) leading by the queen.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is a 2017 Tamil, Telugu epic action film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. It is a sequel to the movie Baahubali 1: The Beginning. The movie's lead roles are done by Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar Subbaraju. The movie is set out to find Why did Kattappa kill Amarendra Baahubali? And take up an act of revenge for Amarendra Baahubali’s death. Baahubali 2 rides on the momentum from where the first part has left. It has its own filmy moments that deliver goosebumps to the viewers and the famous fight scenes that galore within itself.
THE BEGINNING
Baahubali: The Beginning is a 2015 Indian epic fantasy action film directed by S.S Rajamouli. The movie starts when Shivudu falls in love with a young warrior woman in Mahishmati's kingdom. He learns about his family's tangled background and actual lineage while attempting to impress her. The background he gets to know makes him get connected with it, and when he tries to solve it, he gives the idea of his past and saves his own mother from the present king Ballala Deva.
