Advertising is a paid form of mass communication that consists of the unique message sent by a specific person (advertise or company) to a particular group of people (listeners, readers, or viewers ) to a particular time for a specific period of manner specific goal.
In other words, Advertising includes oral, written, or audio-visual messages addressed to the people to inform & influence them to buy their products.

The world of advertising is certainly not what it used to be. We make fewer & fewer print ads. Complexity in storytelling from TV series to trans-media marketing programs is often more effective than the single focus that prevailed in the single-minded focus that won in the years after the Creative marketing revolution of the 1960s. And in an age of social media & mobile technology, utility is replacing message-based marketing altogether.
