Now your hands should be straight, and palms should be facing the ground. Make sure that your chest should touch the front part of your thighs and knees. Also, your head should touch the ground.
Do this asana for three to five minutes, then rest and repeat this asana four to five times.

This asana is beneficial for losing weight fast. The fat of the stomach, waist, and thighs starts reducing immediately with this asana. Regular use of Balasan strengthens the muscles of the body.

This exercise is done in twelve steps:
Step 1.
First of all, stand straight with both hands folded. While inhaling, raise both hands to join the prayer posture. Now exhale as soon as you join both hands.

Step 2.
In the second step, while keeping your hands straight, move upwards, and bend as far back as possible. Keep in mind that the balance of the waist is maintained. Breathe in while you are in this second step.

Step 3.
While exhaling, bend forward in the third step and place your right hand near the right foot with the palm facing the ground. And put the left hand near the left foot with the palm facing the ground. Stand in this posture for a while.

Step 4.
Now breathing in, come into the horse steering posture. Keeping your right leg forward, bring it between both hands with the bent knee.
Now put the left leg's knee on the ground and try to raise your head as high as possible towards the sky.Stay in this posture for a while.

Step 5.
Now while breathing in, come to the Dand Asana posture.
That is, take your right foot back. In Dand Asana, your whole body should be in a flat posture, and the weight of your whole body should be on the hands and toes of the feet.
In this mudra, the face should be in front. Stay like this for a while.

Step 6.
In the sixth step, while exhaling, come into the Ashtanga posture.
This posture is given this name because, in this posture, two toes of the foot, two gulps, chest, two hands, and chin (beard), a total of eight limbs are attached to the ground.
Apart from these eight limbs, no part should touch the ground; in this way, wear this mudra. Remain in this state for some time.

Step 7.
In the seventh step, while breathing in, come to Bhujang's posture. This asana is also called cobra posture in English.
In Bhujang's posture, the toes of the feet are on the ground, the palms of both hands are on the ground, and the part from the knees to the navel is also attached to the ground.
In Bhujang posture, on the strength of the toes of the hands, with a slight bend of both the elbows, while raising the chest, the face has to be raised towards the sky.

Step 8.
Now while exhaling, come into the mountain shape posture. In this mudra, the toes of the hands and feet are fixed on the ground. The face is in line with the ground and the hands.

Step 9.
In the ninth step, again breathing in, now come into the horse steering posture. This time while moving your left leg forward, bring it between both hands along with the bent knee.
Now put the knee of the right leg on the ground and try to raise your head as high as possible towards the sky. Stay in this posture for a while.

Step 10.
In the tenth step, while exhaling, bend forward and come to Hasta Padasana's posture. That is, bring your right foot forward and place your right hand near the right foot, turning your palm towards the ground.
And put the left hand near the left foot with your palm facing the ground. Stand in this posture for a while.

Step 11.
In the eleventh step, breathe in and go into the Hasta Utthan posture. That is, come in the posture of the second step. Move the hand up and back as far as possible. Maintain waist balance. Stay in this posture for a while.

Step 12.
In the twelfth step, complete the Surya Namaskar exercise by coming in Tadasana posture. While exhaling in Tadasana, one has to stand by keeping the hands straight, keeping the face in front.
Keep the body straight in this posture.
