1. Consumption of Whey protein causes Bloating and Gas in the stomach?
This is not true if a person consumes a large amount of whey protein, along it does not consume enough water, fruits, and vegetables, or fiber in their diet, or drinks alcohol and caffeine beverages in high amounts; if consumed, all these cause problems like gas, bloating in the stomach.
In many people, it can also be caused by lactose intolerance and allergy to dairy products. Therefore, it is not right to blame the consumption of whey protein only for stomach problems.
2. Only Bodybuilders should consume Whey protein?
This is not true; whey protein can be consumed by any person other than bodybuilders because all types of essential and non-essential amino acids are present in whey protein.
Which is very important for the manufacturing of many types of essential enzymes and hormones in our body.
Along with this, the intake of protein according to our weight every day is significant for the nutrition of our body. Therefore, any person can consume whey protein as a diet to meet the daily protein requirement.
3. Whey protein is not Natural?
Whey protein is made from milk. Whey protein is formed from the liquid left behind when cheese is separated from milk. Hence it is a derivative of milk, so it is natural.
Also, whey protein is high quality and quickly digestible, i.e., easily digested, so whey protein is a completely safe, natural, nutritionally rich protein substance.
4. Consuming Whey Protein Increases Muscle Size Faster?
This is not true because the muscles' size does not increase only by consuming protein, but by doing the proper exercise, the muscle mass increases.
Consuming the right amount of whey protein makes it easy to supply the amount of adequate protein the body needs throughout the day to increase muscle mass, nothing more. Muscle size can be increased even without the consumption of whey protein.
5. Consuming Whey Protein Increases Acne problems?
The increase in acne is the consumption of whey protein, this has not been proved in any scientific research, so this is not true at all.
The increase in acne can be anything like any type of bacterial infection or genetics or immune system or hypersensitivity to hormones etc.
Apart from this, due to the increase of testosterone hormone in the body during heavy exercise and the overactivity of the sebaceous glands present in the skin, there may be an increase in acne. Therefore, it is not right to blame the consumption of whey protein alone for this.
SPECIAL NOTE...
Protein supplement is used for both purposes either you can use it for muscle and weight gain or use it for weight loss.
The main difference is how it should be used. When you are following a weight loss regime, you should skip your main meal with a whey protein shake and reduce your carbohydrate intake. If you want to gain weight and muscle, you should increase your daily carbohydrate intake and a whey protein supplement.
