1. Transparent House in Tokyo, Japan
If you're a fan of having natural daylight in your house, this is the house for you. It's completely transparent, so lots of sunlight but no privacy. Built by Sou Fujimoto Architects, this house is inspired by our ancestors who lived in trees.

2. Old Water Tower, Belgium
Water was not the only thing this tower stored. It was also used as a Nazi hideout during the Second World War. However, a Belgian Design firm, Bham Design Studio, decided to turn this 100-foot high tower into a comfortable, good-looking house.
1938 and 1941. It was in service until the 1990s and was even used as a watchtower by the Nazis when they took over Belgium.
In 2007, Bham Design Studio completely renovated and converted the former water tower into a single-family home.
3. GIANT SWASHELL HOUE, MEXICO CITY
Inspired by the works of Antoni Gaudi and Frank Lloyd Wright, architects at Arquitectura Organica created this huge seashell-shaped house for a family of four in Mexico City. You can see traces of Gaudi and Wright in the use of colored glasses on the house's exterior.
Seashell House, in Mexico City, built-in 2006, is an amazing shell-shaped house designed by architect Javier Senosiain of Arquitectura Organica. He designed the house for a young family with two children who were tired of living in a conventional home and wanted to change to one integrated into nature.
4 . The Steel House, Lubbock, Texas
Robert Bruno built this house over 23 years. It was originally intended to be only a one-story building, but he kept adding on, and now it is a huge building with 3 separate levels and looks like a giant steel pig. He chose this location because he could get incredible views of the Ransom Canyon underneath.
The house, which can be found close to Lubbock, Texas, is actually built on the side of a canyon; it is not a huge house; it has around 2700 square feet or around 250 square meters.
5. Upside Down House, Trassenheide, Germany
This house was built as a tourist attraction by Polish architects Klaudiusz Golos and Sebastian Mikiciuk as a part of the 'World Upside Down Project.' It allowed the visitors to view the world from a different perspective. Everything about this house, including the furnishings, is upside down.
As if that wasn’t all sufficiently disorienting, the entire building is built on a 6 percent incline. From the outside, this gives the impression that the house somehow fell to earth and came to rest precariously on its roof. And inside, the extra slant emphasizes the already befuddling nature of the Upside-Down House in Trassenheide.
