1. MINDHUNTER: This show is based on a true crime book written by John E. Douglas and Robert K. Ressler. The two main FBI agents in the show are based on these authors. In 1979 Agent Holden Ford was attached to the FBI’s Behavioral sciences unit, headed by veteran Agent Bill Tench. A new type of killer is emerging, one that regularly kills without any apparent motive. Due to lack of motive, it is difficult to profile and apprehend the perpetrator in a murder investigation. To reduce the knowledge deficit, Tench and Ford set out to question incarcerated “sequence killers” and build up a database on their backgrounds, behaviors, drivers, and motives to make apprehending such criminals easier in the future.

The show goes behind the scenes of some high-profile cases, including the man who hunted prostitutes in Alaska, the Atlanta child murderer, and Seattle’s Green River Killer.

Marty Bryde uses his financial skills to set up many businesses in the Ozarks, with the help of which he started earning a lot by supplying drugs to the entire region. This show depicts how the Brydes manage their business by risking their lives and taking extreme measures to save the family.

Also, Jonas’s mom is having an affair with Ulrich, the lead detective on the missing person case, married to the principal of Jonas’s school. Ulrich’s son Mikkel also goes missing, and over the course of episodes, you come to realize that Mikkel was also Jonas’s dead father, “Michael.” The boundaries between the past, present, and future are unwrapped into a stubbornly persistent illusion in this series.

The show depicts the corruption deep-rooted in the Apex Institutions of American politics and Underwood attacking every person in the administration to fulfill his revenge. It is a classical masterpiece of his own.
