Assane Diop, played by Omar Sy, is a brilliant burglar who finds inspiration in Arsène Lupin, a fictional mystery thief and master of disguise. Assange's father was falsely accused of stealing a valuable diamond necklace, and the guilt of the accusation drives him to commit himself. Years later, Assane resolves to avenge those who wrongfully imprisoned his father for crimes he did not commit, and the first stage in his plan is to steal the same diamond necklace using Lupin's tactics. The ten-episode comedy by George Kay and François Uzan is binge-worthy, and its witty characters have enthralled the world.

4. WandaVision

Marvel pushed its movie universe into the television arena with WandaVision. While it began with a promise to push the edge, it ultimately became the Marvel product that we have seen many times yet continue to appreciate. WandaVision's first three episodes were teasers for what was to come, but starting with the fourth episode, it returned to its MCU roots, which I think was a wonderful decision. The show's central theme was Wanda's attempt to cope with Vision's death by acting out, and while this was an excellent emotional motivator, the show's conclusion was as massive as any of the other Marvel films. The event provided splendor and thrills, and at a time when theatres have been absent from our life for some time, WandaVision served as a suitable substitute.

The Underground Railroad, directed and produced by Barry Jenkins, is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning historical fiction novel set in the nineteenth century. Cora is the narrative's protagonist, who flees her slave town using an underground railway system that travels to states that do not enslave black people. As soon as Cora and Caesar escape, slave catcher Ridgeway sets out to get them, as he takes pride in the fact that he has never let anyone escape. While the underground railroad system in actual life was a network of secret routes and people who assisted others in reaching safety, the program adds a touch of magic realism to its execution by taking the railroad system literally and telling Cora's trip in a melancholy yet beautiful manner.
