Top 5 ways to get the most out of your home

A number of people's fears when investing in a home exercise machine (or any exercise equipment) is that they won't use it.

You know the story. It comes, you fix it and enjoy it for a few days...then sit...and wait.

A few months later, you will see how dusty it has become and how much space it takes up. You also remember the weight you decided to lose by using it every day. And now, unfortunately, it also serves as a garment. Don't be afraid. This article will help you to make sure that it is not happening. Treadmills provide the best overall cardiovascular workout and are still the number one exercise machine for anyone looking to lose weight. So it's an investment in your health that will pay off big… if you're ready to get the most out of it!

Here are 5 easy ways to get the most out of your home treadmill:

#1) Do your research first

Be sure to look at what each bike offers you and compare it to your unique needs. For example, if you live in a condo and/or like things that are comfortable and convenient, a folding machine may work best for you. If you want a folding machine, you either choose a manual folding machine (like most folding machines) or you want a shock-assisted folding machine. Does it have wheels and a floor that is easy to move around? If you like to drink water during your workout, be sure to have a water holder built into the handlebars of the treadmill (you might be surprised how many treadmills does not have this function).

Do you get bored easily and want a challenge? What about bikes that have multiple user programs or are compatible with iFit? These things may not seem like much but it may cost you a little; and if it means you get to enjoy your workout, it will be worth it!

#2) Put the treadmill in the "happy" position.

By "happy", I mean very light, open and exciting. Do not place it facing the wall while walking or running. Try this and the workout doesn't last long! If you get tired easily, put it facing the TV or facing the window where you can see something beautiful while you exercise. Buildings and spaces have a clear "effect" and this will affect the progress of your workout. Make sure your treadmill is placed in an area that gives you energy, joy, and mental stimulation.

#3) Prepare the exercise equipment BEFORE the treadmill arrives.

Do you like to listen to fast music while you exercise? Do you like watching your favorite movies? How about reading a newspaper? What motivates you to train and get better?

Get these things ready before your treadmill arrives and you'll be three-quarters of the way. Have lots of exercise or favorite CDs. Get your favorite movies or shows on tape. Collect your favorite magazines.

By having plenty of exercise on your treadmill, you'll be motivated to work out and you won't have to keep looking for something to do when you want to start exercising. Again, this may seem simple, but it works. Why do you think gyms with magazines, TVs, and music CDs are useful?

#4) Make an exercise plan.

Before you start working out, try to make a plan, a "roadmap for your rock-hard body" so to speak. By planning how long and what type of training you will do in week 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., you will set yourself up for success.

Remember, every time you work, you are planting the seeds of that dream you want. By having a plan, you can see how many seeds you planted (and even how long it will take you to start bearing fruit!) Have fun with it and you will be motivated to reach your health goals (and get great. have fun on your treadmill!)

#5) Track your progress

Well, that's related to #4, but it's a continuation. By tracking your progress every day, you'll experience a greater sense of accomplishment that translates into greater fat-burning results. I suggest you have a "minimum goal" like "I will walk for at least 10 minutes". or "I'm going to do 5 to 30 second intervals." These are easy to do and you will probably go through them, which will encourage you even more and give you a greater sense of accomplishment.

And of course, you get the most out of your bike!

Here are five ways to get the most out of your home treadmill. Remember that even a little preparation will pay off big in the end.
