Top 5 ways to beat the pandemic blues

The COVID-19 pandemic has flooded gloom all over the world. We have all been the targets not just to poor physical health but also mental health. Being locked up for months is not a simple task; after all, we are human beings, and we crave interaction with the outer world. We have missed meeting our friends, traveling around, strolling without a mask on our faces, sipping coffee at our favorite cafe, and most of all, being normal. This lockdown, for once, made us all realize how beautiful it was to be normal. Now, as the situation improves, we can get back to our lifestyles with necessary safety measures. So, here are 5 ways to beat the effect of the pandemic and get back to our normal life.

We are blessed to be in the age of social media and the internet. 1.Talk about it: Sharing what it was for you to go through this phase can make you realize that you aren't alone in this. The COVID-effected individuals and families are not low in number. The stress, the mental and emotional baggage, is also not easy to shrug off. So, share your story. Use it for good, reach people and let's be there for each other.

2.Invest in health: We have known it the hard way that health is delicate and needs to be properly attended to. Now is the time to eat healthily, be fit, and build a sound environment.

"A healthy mind resides in a healthy body."

3.Develop a new hobby: Engage yourself in new activities and develop a new hobby. It could be painting, writing, making music, cooking, dancing, or anything. It is always good to brighten up the creative side of us. It will not just add on as new learning but also fill us with a warm feeling.

4.Travel: It is unsafe to travel at this point. Yet with a few strict precautions, we can make short trips possible. It is the best way to reconnect with humanity, nature, and ourselves. Sunny or windy, keep moving. It regenerates hope, and hope, after all, is a good thing.

5.Get the bucket list out: We have all had dreams, passions, and the things we wanted to accomplish for certain. We may not be able to do all of those, but we can remind ourselves of those dreams. They are the ones that make us who we are. Hold on to that one piece of you that knows what you always wanted. It is what will help you thread back to the person you have always wanted to be.
