3)Skeleton Pond -Roopkund

Roopkund, also known as the “Skeleton Lake” and “Mystery Lake,” is a glacial lake in Uttarakhand situated at 16,500 feet.
Every year after winter, as the snow melts, human skeletons float in the pond. This pond was discovered in 1942.
Since then till now, this village has remained a mystery. However, many forensic and radiocarbon tests were conducted at Roopkund pond, and scientists believe that skeletons present here are at least 1200 years old.

No one knows from where they came.
Many say that it is the remains of King Jasdhaval of Kannauj and his pregnant queen and all her servants who had gone out to see Nanda Devi but were hit by a storm on the way.

This tale is associated with the Bhandar cave of Bihar. The cave is a big giant rock having the treasures of Bimbisara, the king of Mahadhan who loved collecting treasures.
One day, the son of Bimbasara imprisoned him, so his wife hides all treasure in this cave so that no one can approach it.
There are inscriptions in the Sankhlipi script inscribed on the wall. It is believed that whoever cracks the inscriptions will purportedly open the door to the treasure.
The British officer once tried opening this doorway by using their cannonball; result— the British were unsuccessful, and they only managed to leave a big mark on the walls of the cave. Thus, the mystery remains untold and unexplainable.

5)Kodinhi -The village of twins

A village in Kerala where even science could not solve the mystery. Kodinhi village in Mallapuram district is one where there are more than 200 twins.
Yes, there are twins in every third house. Apart from this, triplets are also seen. Therefore, the government also calls this village 'Village of Twins'.
There is one more strange thing with Kodinhi. Even if the women here go to get married in some other village, they still have twin children.
