Top 5 tips to control your diabetes

Ever since I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 11, my diet has changed dramatically. I've been diabetic for seven years now, but to tell you that the way I maintain my weight would be a completely wrong thing for me.

I am a university student and would like to buy a new and live product where I live. This is important because it can be perfect for your body and contains more nutrients and vitamins than most store products. I like to get food at my farmer's market every two weeks in town, selling amazing meat and dairy products as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. This is another important thing to remember, that eating fruits and vegetables in their season means they will taste better and do you good. I greatly influence Western European food (especially France and Italy), as you will tell, but I do not mean that I am a chef and everything is easy to make and very easy.

I read many diary books and recipes/diabetics and concluded that I think it really works. I included all the good things from food (but not all), and I included my own. I call this my Juvenile Diabetes Healthy Diet! The “rules” that I would make are as follows:

1. Cut back on snacks and change the type of snack you eat.

Certainly, my biggest fall, even though it didn’t look good to me. When I started University, I had little or no routine, meaning that filling my day was hard, and going into the kitchen to get a meal, no matter how healthy it seemed, was a regular occurrence. The snacks to eat are nuts without salt, dried fruit without sugar, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables (I like fresh red peppers and cucumbers), dark chocolate (rich and good, and you only want 2 squares). This is one of the most difficult things for some people, but establishing a good routine is important for major diabetic care.

2. Reduce the white flour and oil the whole carbs.

This is an essential part of your diet and can show a significant increase in weight loss. Some foods actually just focus on this point and are very effective. Wholemeal (especially wholemeal ground) is very good for you and has so much flavor in it that switching is much easier than you think. Most people are amazed at the distances you can find in your supermarket, and remember that the bread that is right for you is the newest one with fewer preservatives or additional ingredients. Also, red or basmati rice is great with a nice nut texture. Wholemeal pasta is great, and with your potatoes, I would totally recommend fresh potatoes.

3. Stop drinking cocktails; start drinking wine.

Cocktails are full of sugar, colors, and preservatives. As a student, I had a lot of habit of going out without drinking cocktails, so I prefer the Malibu and Diet Coke drink if I feel like I should drink something and do it all night. Then I would add Diet Coke (almost no sugar in it), and it looks like I'm drinking Malibu; who will know. When you go out to a restaurant, red wine is much better than anything else you can order (except water anyway!) The recommended amount is one glass a day for your dinner.

4. Start cooking more fruits and vegetables.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are a great way to get all the vitamins and minerals you need. And there are many different ways to cook vegetables, but I find that raw is the best followed with steamed. Both methods retain all of their natural beauty as well. I will follow this post on alternative diabetes recipes.

5. Drink plenty of water.

I know you've heard people say this many times before, but the benefits of drinking plenty of water are endless. A few tips for getting plenty of water in your day for the first time is to put water bottles in every area you enter the house or work. So keep one on your desk, at your desk, glass in the kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc. Try and drink all these glasses up, and you will be on your way to 8 glasses a day. The trick is to add a glass every few days; however, if you try to drink all that water at once, you will not tend to drink 8 glasses again, hopefully! Have a walk; it's amazing how beautiful you will feel.
