As much as there is the importance of having children in our lives, it is even more important how we raise them. It would not be wrong to say that we all parents try our best to let our children grow up and show a good upbringing in their behavior.
When I became a mother, I also had a big challenge in front of me, so let's share those five essential things that I have experienced during parenting.
1) Never discuss any negative things in front of children
Yes, we always feel that our children are too young to understand, but it is not. Children not only listen but also understand everything and believe me, the effect of these negative words remains on their minds for their whole life. They start seeing the world through our eyes.
Right now, they are too small; they are silently observing the world around them, they understand too. Let them feel the activities happening in this world. Maybe in this way, they can see this world better than ours.

2) Don't discourage children -
Everything is new to your child. There are so many things they are going to do for the first time. This is the age where they are trying as well as learning too. It is not the right thing to expect them to do everything perfectly.
If I talk about my daughter, she didn't do coloring well. Then I used to interrupt her and scold her, and as a result, whenever I gave her an art book, she started refusing to color, and she lost her interest in art. Then I decided that now I would never interrupt her, and then gradually, her art started improving. From then till today, I never discourage her. As a result, now she tries every new thing with confidence.
3) Teach by games or stories
Children spend most of their time with their mothers. In such a situation, they like our presence as long as we don't interrupt them. But that doesn't mean that we have not told them about their mistakes.
Our children indeed found our learnings as preaching, but if we teach these things through a game or telling the stories, then children will listen to our words with interest and follow them.
4) Do not force children to eat
The effect of good eating habits of children reflects in their mood and their behavior. It is said that when a child is hungry, they have irritability; just the opposite is true when they are satiated. He will be just as happy.
But for this, you have to remember that children have to be given a choice, but not an option. In the initial days when the child is small, you can take a partition plate for him. Put 2-3 choices in it and observe what he likes. Never force-feed the children by giving them an extra bite.
I taught my daughter from the beginning that when she is complete, she should say stop. And believe me, I never used to insist that she finish the whole meal or eat one more bite. In this way, children will not run away from eating, but they will come and ask themselves that what has been made today?

5) Be their role model first
Parents are indeed role models for their children. If we do not behave properly, no matter how hard we try, we cannot expect that behavior from our children.
I used to feel very bad when my daughter said something wrong. Then I observed that the words that she repeats are the words that I speak to her. It meant that I had to improve myself first; only then could I expect good conduct from my daughter.

So, these are some things that I learned when my daughter was growing up. And I think there will be many such parents among you who must already know these things; you just need to adopt and implement them.
And last but not least, I never forget to tell thank you to my lovely Google, who has always helped me a lot during this beautiful journey. So, dear parents, don't be in a panic. Nobody can be like parents as they know very well about their children.
