1. Create An Instagram Page And Do Not Follow/Unfollow Or Like/Comment Anyone At All
You may have noticed that some very new accounts suddenly go viral and attract many followers and likes despite not having many posts or much content on their page at all. This is because when an Instagram account is new, it's susceptible compared to older accounts.
Instagram closely observes the activity of all new accounts that have just been created. This is so that Instagram can determine if you are worth suggesting and putting on the explore page.
If you start following/unfollowing or liking/commenting on other accounts as soon as you create yours, this sends Instagram the message that you are a common user account. You won't be getting the same attention and engagement as a typical viral account does.
Using the follow button or any other action button even once with a fresh account may severely decrease your probability of going viral. If you want to be noticed on Instagram, you need to pop up in three places: The explore page, on the search, and through suggestions; all three of these things increase your reach tenfold.
2. Find A Niche
Decide a niche before you make an account. Memes, fashion blogging, fan pages, whatever you're interested in or good at, or whatever is popular or trending (It's advised that you don't make fake accounts as they may be unlawful and may get you banned). Borrow content from already established pages sharing your niche, and post them on your own wall. There are apps to download photos, videos, Reels, and stories onto your camera roll, so do check those out as well.
3. Establish Your Account/page
On the first and second day of creating your page, establish it by:
1. Putting up a creative logo:
A logo is essentially the face of your brand; make it look creative and not too complicated.
2. Set up an interesting bio:
A bio can describe what you're about, your goal to achieve, and other interesting things.
3. Put up 25-26 photo posts and 1-2 video posts:
Fill up your wall with the content that you borrowed from other pages, so when you have visitors, they can browse through and decide if they want to follow you or not. Add both photos and videos.
4. Post stories at least twice a day:
Posting stories are among the most important things to do; stories are constantly projected to people and increase your likelihood of getting more follows. Post the photos and videos that are on your wall to your stories.
5. Highlights:
Categorizing your stories into Highlights allows new followers to see what stories they missed.
While you are doing all of this, remember that you still should not be following/unfollowing or liking/commenting upto this point.
4. Follow Users That Comment On Popular Posts
Go to all of the more popular pages sharing your niche, look up their recent posts, and follow only the people who have commented under them, not anyone else, only the people who have left a comment. Start at a low number and build that number everyday as below:
Day 1: 25 follows
Day 2: 50 follows
Day 3: 75 follows
Day 4: 100 follows
Day 5: 200 follows
And by increasing this number every day, slowly start to stretch your follow limit because if you start with very high numbers, Instagram will definitely have your account blocked. Keep doing this until you can follow 1000 people in a day without Instagram knowing. Instagram will not be able to detect this if it's done at a prolonged rate. However, this requires a lot of patience.
The benefit of following people that comment under posts is that they are very highly engaging people, and they will most likely show the same engagement on your page. This lets the Instagram algorithm know that you truly have highly engaging content, and it'll start pushing your content to more and more people, which results in enormous reach. This reach comes from three places:
The Explore Page:
The most eye-catching place on the app, just before you go to search, you see all these photos, and something catches your attention, and you go that page, that's where you want to be.
On Search:
Come up on top when someone types in a keyword that relates to your content.
Suggestions:
When someone follows a similar page, being among the suggested pages underneath is a dream come true.
All three of these places increase your traffic tenfold.
5. Follow Other Popular Pages under 40k Followers
Then start following other pages with your niche that have a mid-range following of about 30-40k followers, DM them too; the idea is to engage with them so if any page follows you back, Instagram will now confirm that you have very highly engaging content and it'll push it even more. Now, your page will most definitely take off, and you can handle it from there, but make sure to still be very active by posting at least 2 posts and upto 10 stories a day, also respond to DMs and comments you get from followers. Having a viral page on Instagram is very helpful to sell your merchandise or advertise for others and, if done right, can be a perfect way of revenue.
