Humans were always curious to know about the world which exists outside of the Earth. Stars, Planets, Sun, moon, etc.
Due to technological advancement today, 173 countries have their own Space Organization.
Here are the top 5 Space Research organizations which had done a milestone in space research.
1. NASA
Whenever we think about space research, the name first in front of our eyes is NASA.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration, better known as NASA, is a US-based space organization founded in 1958. This was the first space organization in the world. Nil Armstrong was the first human to step on the moon, which was sent by NASA in 1979. NASA was the first space organization that explored the outer space of the Milky way and was the first organization to explore the completely undiscovered planets Jupiter and Saturn.
Cosmic bodies such as infinity Galaxies, Star clusters, Supernovas, Nebula were all discovered by NASA.
For example, the Pictures outside our solar system, the Helix Nebula and the Eagle Nebula, were first clicked by NASA's Hubble telescope.
For this, all things American Government spends 20 billion US dollars per year on NASA.
From the above achievements, we can imagine what type of contribution NASA had made towards Space Research.
2. CNSA
China National Space Administration, better known as CNSA, was founded in 1993.
From 1993 to 2021, CNSA sends so many Space Crafts and satellites in Space. Today there are a total of 2666 satellites in space, of which 363 are owned by CNSA. It means 13.6% of satellites are from CNSA.
CNSA holds the 2nd rank to make a space station in space.
CNSA has plans for 2030 to send a spacecraft to Jupiter and Saturn, which can observe them so closely and study Neptune's orbit.
Chinese government spends a total of 11 billion us dollars on CNSA.
3. ROSCOSMOS
Russian federal Space Administration, popularly known as ROSCOSMOS, was founded in 1992.
Russia was the first country to send an alive dog to space with a tiny spacecraft. Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman to go to space which was sent by ROSCOSMOS. Also, it was the first space organization to launch the first Artificial Satellite named Sputnik 1. RUSSIA was the first country to Take the soil from the moon to the Earth.
4. ISRO
Indian Space Research organizations, better known as ISRO, were founded in 1969.
India was the only country to achieve the MARS mission Mangalyan - 1 in the first attempt in just 75 million US dollars. In comparison, the famous Bollywood movie martian was made with a budget of 108 million dollars.
ISRO has the world's best launch vehicle named PSLV rocket, which will cost only 58 million dollars to launch a satellite.
ISRO holds the world record of launching 103 satellites at a time which consists of the USA, UAE, and some other countries. No space organization had done this besides India.
Chandrayan 1, which was launched in 2008 by ISRO, founded the water bodies on the moon's surface.
The Indian government spends 1.5 billion US dollars per year on ISRO.
5. SpaceX
Besides being a private Space organization. Elon Musk's SpaceX holds the 5 ranks in the race of space research.
SpaceX was founded in 2002 but has made great achievements in space research.
SpaceX was the 4th Space organization to send human beings to space.
The main aim of SpaceX is to make reusable rockets at such a low cost. Founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, has tweeted that in the next 5 years, MARS could be a habitable planet to live on.
