Kids and snacks cannot be separated. On the subject of their children's food, moms are very worried. All that kids want is a delicious meal after a long and stressful day at school. As a parent, it is up to you to ensure that there is no junk food on your child's plate. You can use this healthy food as an opportunity to get into other vegetables your child could typically hate to consume into his machine. These foods not only satisfy your children's tastebuds but also provide a significant amount of nutrition to maintain them energized and happy for long.
1) Corn Flakes Chat

Ingredients
- corns flakes – 1.5 cups
- onion – 1 med size (chopped finely)
- tomato – 1 med size (chopped finely)
- green chili – 1 (chopped finely)
- dates – 3 (finely chopped)
- roasted peanuts – 2 tbsp
- coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- chili powder – 1/4 tsp
- salt – as per taste
- chat masala – 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice from half lemon
Method
1) In a bowl, add the corn flakes.
2) To this, add onions, tomatoes, dates.
3) Adding dates gives a great flavor to the chat. So try adding them. If you don't like your talk to be sweet, then you can conveniently keep away from them.
4) Also, add the roasted peanuts and coriander leaves.
5) Add chili powder, salt, and chat masala.
6) If you want, you can add green chili too. But you can avoid that when you are preparing for children.
7) Blend all the ingredients slightly.
8) Now add the lemon juice and mix.
9) Garnish with coriander and serve them straight away or within 3 minutes, as the water content from tomato and lemon juice make the corn flakes a bit soggy. So try to serve it right away for a crunchier corn flakes chat.
2) Vegetable Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients
- Four bread slices (brown/white bread)
- 2 tsp oil
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- ½ cup corn (fresh / frozen)
- One carrot (finely chopped)
- ½ capsicum (finely chopped)
- One bunch spinach/palak leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp crushed pepper
- ½ tsp mixed herbs (optional)
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp green chutney
- ¼ cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese (grated)
- 2 tsp butter
Method
1) First of all, in a big Kadhai, heat oil and fry onions.
2) Further add corn, carrot, and capsicum. Fry for a minute until the vegetables are half cooked but still firm.
3) Now add chopped spinach and fry them till they shrink in size.
4) Add pepper, mixed herbs, and salt. Give a good mix.
5) now take two slices of bread and on one spread the tomato sauce and green chutney on the other.
6) Also, place the prepared stuffing and spread it uniformly on the bread slice.
7) In addition, grate the cheese over the stuffing.
8) Cover with the other slice of bread and grill or toast on a Tawa.
9) Spread butter on both the outer sides of the bread to make the sandwich greater crispy and golden.
10) Furthermore, close the griller and grill until the cheese melts and the bread turns golden brown.
11) Cut the bread in half and serve.
3) Hara Bhara Kabab
Ingredients
- 1 bunch palak leaves / spinach / baby spinach
- 2 tsp oil
- One green chili / hari mirch (finely chopped)
- One capsicum (finely chopped)
- ¾ cup beans (chopped)
- ¾ cup peas (fresh/frozen)
- Two potatoes (boiled and grated)
- ¾ cup paneer/cottage cheese (crumbled)
- 3 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp Kashmiri chili powder / lal mirch powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder/dhania powder
- 1 tsp amchur / dry mango powder
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric / Haldi
- salt to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (to coat)
- Eight cashews (halved)
- oil for deep frying

Method
1) First of all, in a considerable kadhai, heat oil and add green chili.
2) Additionally, add capsicum and saute until the moisture disappears.
3) Further, add beans and peas. Saute nicely.
4) Now transfer to a blender and allow to cool completely.
5) Blend the coarse paste and blanched palak.
6) Now transfer the blended paste into a large mixing bowl.
7) add grated potato, paneer, and coriander leaves.
8) Add cornflour and breadcrumbs.
9) Add in the spices and salt. Mix nicely.
10) Further, grease hands with oil and make small patties.
11) Cover the patties with bread crumbs and garnish them with cashew.
12) Now, deep fry the patties into the hot oil.
13) Fry on medium hot oil, stirring occasionally.
14) Drain the fried kababs onto the kitchen napkin.
15) Serve the Hara bhara kabab hot with sauce and masala tea.
4) Chocolate, Dates, and Nut Laddoo
Ingredients
- 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk 14-oz1 cup Dates, deseeded and coarsely chopped
- Two tablespoons Salted butter
- One ¼cup Almond Flour
- Five tablespoons Cocoa Powder unsweetened
- 2-3tablespoon Almonds finely chopped
- Two tablespoons Powdered Coconut
Method
1) add butter and condensed milk to a healthy bottom pan. Cook on low heat for about 8 minutes while stirring constantly. The mixture will thicken and begin to leave the sides of the pan.
2) Add cocoa powder and almond flour to the mixture. Continue stirring to remove any lumps and make a smooth paste.
3) Now grease a large plate or baking dish with butter. Pour the mixture on the scalp and smooth it with a spatula. Let it cool slightly until it is safe to touch. We don't want it to be completely cool but warm, so it is easy to roll the balls.
4) Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into cherry-sized balls. Dip some in chopped nuts, some in shredded coconut, and leave some plain.
5) Store in an airtight container for up to a week. It can be stored on the counter for 3-4 days and in the refrigerator afterward.
6) Masala Pasta
Ingredients
for pasta cooking:-
- 1 cup penne pasta (or any pasta)
- water to boil
- ½ tsp salt
other ingredients:-
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp butter
- Two clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 1-inch ginger (finely chopped)
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup tomato pulp
- ¼ tsp turmeric / Haldi
- ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp corn
- ¼ capsicum (finely chopped)
- ¼ carrot (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp peas / matar
- Seven florets broccoli
- 3 tbsp water
- ½ tsp mixed herbs (basil, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme)
Method
1) First, saute 1-inch ginger and two garlic cloves in 1 tsp oil and 1 tsp of butter.
2) Then saute ½ onion till they turn soft.
3) In addition, add 1 cup tomato pulp and stir well.
4) Keep stirring until the tomato pulp thickens.
5) Put ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp garam masala, and ½ tsp salt in it.
6) Saute till the spices get cooked thoroughly.
7) Further add 2 tbsp corn, ¼ capsicum, ¼ carrot, 2 tbsp peas, and seven broccoli florets. Saute for a minute.
8) Add 3 tbsp water and mix well.
9) Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
10) Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce and ½ tsp mixed herbs in it. Blend well.
11) Add in cooked pasta and mix gently until the sauce is coated well.
12) Finally, serve masala pasta hot, topped with cheese if needed.
