Ice serves as a protective shield on Earth and in our oceans. These bright white areas reflect excess heat into space and keep the planet cool. In essence, the Arctic remains much colder than the equator because the heat from the sun is reflected in the ice, back into space. Through their study, we get important details about how fast the planet is warming up. They give scientists a record of how the climate has changed over time; today, about 10% of the earth's surface is covered with ice. About 90% of Antarctica, while the remaining 10% are in the Greenland ice cap.

Deforestation has many negative effects, such as rising sea levels. Also, there is an increase in carbon dioxide emissions while less of it is being absorbed by trees because they are constantly declining in value due to deforestation. As a result, it is accelerating global warming and rising sea levels.
A study conducted in Mt Kilimanjaro shows that mountain snow has dropped, and there is a major reason for the deforestation in the surrounding areas. If the trend continues again in areas where large numbers of trees have been cleared, mountain snowfalls are expected to disappear completely in the next few years.
4. Discovery of Black Carbon
Black carbon is a type of aerosol. Aerosol is the suspension of solid particles or water droplets in the air, among aerosols (such as brown carbon, sulfates). Black carbon has been identified as the second most important anthropogenic to climate change and a key indicator of understanding the harmful effects of air pollution. It is extracted from gas and diesel engines, coal-fired power stations, and other sources that burn fossil fuels. It contains an important part of the particles, which pollute the air. Black carbon dioxide warms the earth by absorbing heat from the atmosphere and reducing the albedo when exposed to ice and ice. 5. Ice-breaking vessels
