Top 5 promising youngsters who may be selected for T20 world cup 2021

The world has seen many great cricket players from India: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Kapil Dev, M.S.Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and many others. Their contribution to International cricket is unfathomable. The great Indian Cricket board has always focused on giving new young talents and shaping them up for the future. In the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka BCCI selection Committee has given a chance for many youngsters who had made their International debuts. BCCI may select quality young players for the T20 World Cup to give them a learning experience. Virat Kohli, the ship captain, was once selected for the world cup the same way in 2011 and played under the legendary captaincy of M.S.Dhoni and guided by Sachin and Sehwag. 1. Shreyas Iyer

He is the Captain of the Delhi Capitals IPL franchise and the youngest ever to take his team to the finals. Iyer is an active fielder, and his decisions as a captain were remarkable; he was an option for the captain of the Indian National cricket team for the INDIA vs. SRI LANKA T20 series and ODI series due to his injury, he was removed. 

 

2. Rishab Rant

Pant is a wicket-keeping batsman. Players experienced players have always said that he will be the best-suited keeper for India after M.S.Dhoni. Despite a lot of criticism, he has shown his best in the recent matches scoring at the crucial moment of the game. He is also known for his innovative cricket shots. 3. Shubman Gill

India was looking for a bold opener who can smash without any pressure; young charming Gill played fabulously in IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders and proved his worth. 4. Prithvi Shaw

He was the captain of the Indian Under-19 cricket team that won in 2018. He also played well in IPL for Delhi Capitals as an opener with Shikhar Dawan. He took 50 runs from just 20 balls and was one of the fastest 50 scorers of the season. He is good at making decisions during tough times. He was compared to Sachin Tendulkar during his childhood. 

 

5. Washington Sundar

He is a right-hand off-spinner. He played a crucial role in taking fast wickets during knockout matches; apart from bowling, he has a good batting record, due to which he played up the order in the IPL 2021 for Royal Challengers Banglore. he was selected in India's squad for the 2018 Nidahas Trophy against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Many praised him for his economical bowling inside the powerplay at an economy of less than 6 runs an over. He bagged a maiden 3-wicket haul during the series, making him the youngest ever T20I player to do so. He was named the player of the series for his performance. He then became a regular member of the Indian Twenty20 team.
