1. Mywaton, the fourth largest lake in Iceland, covering an area of 36.5 square kilometers. It has small coves and more than 40 small islands. You can experience for yourself the amazing natural beauty of this area. The lava formations in Dimmu Borgir are active volcanic past; Mt. Hverfjall is a large crater (the edge of the crater is accessible only by two ways, using other paths up or down is strictly prohibited). Krafla is a 10 km caldera and a geothermal field east of Namaskar. You will have a wonderful opportunity to observe the life of the birds in abundance in this strange landscape.
2. Geyser. A trip to Iceland would not be complete without seeing the geezers. The Great Geyser was formerly the largest natural attraction in Iceland. It blew up a jet of hot water and evaporated into the air at an altitude of 80 meters. Stroke is now one of the most famous geysers in Iceland, and you can imagine when it will erupt because it happens every 5 to 10 minutes. The Great Geyser is only 20 meters away from it. The spout reaches a height of 20 meters, and although not as tall as its 'great ancestor,' it is still an impressive sight. Everywhere you look today, the tide of protectionist sentiment is flowing. Even if you are not a gardener/plant lover, you will find rare and primitive plant life growing in this unusual place.
3. The Blue Lagoon is an amazing natural feature in Iceland. White silica clay and blue-green algae form light natural sediment at the pond's bottom, giving it a ghostly, opaque, aquamarine color. No one can go unnoticed by this natural wonder. The temperature of this artificial pond water is 40C. The Blue Lagoon is a truly luxurious and unique experience, especially if you want to bathe in it when it's snowing around you!
4. On a clear day in Reykjavik, the mysterious Snepheljokul Glacier can be seen even though it is more than 60 miles across the ocean. People have believed that it has spiritual powers since Jules Verne wrote The Journey to the Center of the Earth. Not to mention the black sandy beaches with beautiful swamps, beautiful grasslands, rivers and small ponds, beautiful rock formations. Being in Iceland is like being on another planet.
5. Thingwell National Park is known as one of the most beautiful places in Iceland; I could not make such a statement because there are so many unusual and truly amazing places in Iceland. Kingwell has been an important place for Icelanders since Parliament was founded in 930.
