05. Kodaikanal
Kodaikanal is a hill town in Tamil Nadu. The city of Kodaikanal at 2,000 meters above sea level, and this place is very calm and rainy. Kodaikanal is one of the popular tourist destinations in Tamil Nadu. The local economy is based on hospitality and tourism.
Kodaikanal has several best places to visit like, Berijam Lake, Guna caves, Pillar Rocks, Kurinji Andavar Murugan temple, Dolphin's Nose, Silver Cascade, Pine forests, Kodaikanal Solar Observatory, Shembaganur Museum of Natural History, Poombarai Village much more.
My favorite is the Guna caves and Pine forests. I did not see Guna caves, but in the movie, Gunaa Tamil actor Mr. Kamalhasan acted a movie with Guna caves. From that point, I start loving Kodaikanal. And I didn’t saw Pine forests too, and I am a nature lover; that’s why I love forests and nature.
04. Ooty
Ooty is a resort town in the Western Ghats mountains, in southern India's Tamil Nadu state. This is the most excellent place in this row of these places.
Ooty is also famous for homemade chocolates. The most well-known area in Ooty for chocolates is Charing street. Stroll into one of the numerous pastry shops here, and you can get the most loved finger-licking chocolates in Milk, dim chocolate, white chocolate, cashews, raisins, strawberries, and a lot more flavors.
Ooty serves the best and naturally – developed organic strawberries. Also, you can get hold of these newly developed strawberries and nectar in a significant number of the neighborhood stores. Indeed, honey beekeeping is the essential wellsprings of occupation of the tribals in Ooty.
03. Mahabalipuram (or) Mamallapuram
Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram, is a city in Chengalpattu district in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu; it is one of the famous tourist sites in India. The Mahabalipuram was created by Pallavas between the 7th and 8th centuries.
The Mahabalipuram was well known for architect rock caves, architect rocks for people living, and architect rock temples. It turned into a gathering of imperial landmarks; many cut out of the living stone.

02. Thanjavur
Thanjavur is my favorite one of all these places because it shows the well-grown empire of Cholas. Thanjavur is also known by Tamil Nadu’s Nerkalanchiam. Thanjavur is the capital of Cholas at that time. The great King Raja Raja Chola builds this temple. And you can’t believe that it was the highest architectural building in that period on earth.
The temple is called Brihadishvara temple. He builds this temple for Lord Shiva. The Chola period modelers and artisans developed the ability to increase and construct, especially with substantial stone, and achieve the 63.4 meters (208 ft) high transcending Vimana.
The temple was entirely made up of the Tamil language. And he made an order to sculpting all who donated anything to build this temple up.

Chennai, there is no need to elaborate on this one, I think. But more of you may read this from various countries, so let’s take a look at it…
Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu; it is the most important cultural, economic, and educational center of south India. And it is one the most famous cities in Tamil Nadu and a well-grown modern city.
