INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST
With the advent of digitalization and cloud solutions, access to sophisticated data to solve business problems has become common in organizations. With data systems becoming ubiquitous and organizations managing large stores of information, cyber security threats have also enhanced.
The key role of an information security analyst is to protect the company’s computer networks, systems, and databases from cyber attacks and data breaches. Information security analysts detect, monitor and mediate with an organization's various aspects of security, like software security and network security.
Information security analysts should have a clear understanding of security management frameworks, operating system vulnerabilities, data privacy and regulations and network infrastructure, apart from having client-facing skills, problem solving skills and business acumen.

A database administrator maintains a dynamic database environment in the organization by directing and performing all data-related activities. They are the information technicians who oversee database updates, storage, security, and troubleshooting. Some of the skills required for the job are efficiency in data modeling and database design, metadata management and repository usage, database schema creation and management, backup and recovery, etc.
