4 Dashashwamedh ghat
The Ghats in Varanasi are world-renowned embankments made in steps of stone slabs along the river bank where pilgrims perform various rituals. There are around 84 ghats in Varanasi, among which the Dashashwamedh Ghat is very spectacular. According to Hindu legend, Brahma created this ghat to welcome Lord Shiva. According to another, Lord Brahma sacrificed ten horses during Dasa-Ashwamedha yajna performed here.
