1. Holi: -

Once upon a time, there was a king named Hiranya Kashyap; he had a son Prahlad. Prahlad was a devotee of Lord Vishnu, which was not liked by Hiranyakashyap. Hiranyakashyap forbade him to worship Lord Vishnu many times, but he did not agree, due to which Hiranyakashyap became very angry.
Hiranyakashyap called his sister Holika and Prahlad to kill; Holika took Prahlad in her lap and sat in the fire. Still, Prahlad survived in that fire, and Holika was burnt to ashes; since then, this festival started being celebrated, this festival is celebrated on the full moon of Falgun month. Everyone burns Holika Dahan and plays Holi with colors the next day; on this festival, everyone forgets their fight and celebrates this festival with each other; this festival is a symbol of truth.
2. Dipawali: -
Dipawali is the biggest festival of Hindus. This festival is celebrated by all Indians. The most important reason for celebrating this festival is Lord Shri Ram because, on this day, Lord Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya after completing 14 years of exile. On this day, he was welcomed by lighting a lamp throughout Ayodhya. It was done, and the whole empire was celebrated, since then; on this day, all Indians light lamps in their homes on the day of Dipawali, they celebrate happiness, playing crackers, and wear new clothes on the day of Dipawali. On this day, all the people eliminate the evils inside them and celebrate this festival with love.
3. Dussehra:-
Dussehra represents a symbol of goodness in the hearts of Indians. This festival is the most important in India. There is a fundamental reason to celebrate this festival because, on this day, Lord Shri Ram burnt Ravana; this was the victory of good over evil. And Lord Shri Ram won, since then, on this day, everyone makes an effigy of Ravana and drives it, everyone celebrates this day.
4. Durga Puja: -

This festival is celebrated all over the country of India with immense joy, but this festival is mainly celebrated in the state of Maharastra. This festival is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesha, who was the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. During this festival, people pray to Lord Ganesha with great devotion and admiration. This festival is celebrated for 11 days with great charm and joy. In this festival, people make the statues and idols with the clay of their Lord Ganesha, and at the end of the 11 days, the people immerse the clay idols and statues in their nearest water source, such as the sea or river. This immersion is done to reunite Lord Ganesha with his parents. This ritual of immersion is also known as visarjan.
