1. Onion Thalipeeth

Literature

Two medium-sized onions, two bowls of wheat flour, a teaspoon of turmeric, one teaspoon chili powder, one teaspoon garam masala powder, salt, oil to the taste.

 

Action

Add finely chopped onion, chili, turmeric powder, salt, and garam masala to the wheat flour and add oil. I also add the rest of the rice.

Take a tick plastic bag, fold the bag in half, and divide it into two parts. Grease it and take a lump of the dough and place it on a plastic sheet.

When the pan is hot, add oil and fry this plate.

Now your plate is ready to serve, serve with green chutney, ketchup, or curd.

 

 

2. Khamang Dhapate in Curd

Literature

Two bowls of sorghum flour, half cup gram flour back, A bowl of mung flour, two teaspoons of dough, half a teaspoon of cumin powder, half a teaspoon of ova powder, two teaspoons of sesame seeds.

There are two teaspoons of dried cilantro, approximate oil for roasting, chili powder, salt, turmeric, and approximately half a teaspoon of mint leaf powder.

 

Action

Combine the above flour and add red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder, ova powder, cilantro, and mint powder.

Mix yogurt and a little milk and bake the flour. Knead the dough well. Roll the dough into small pieces.

Heat a hot Tawa with a lot of oil on both sides. When the batter cools down, put the paper in the container and fill it. It goes well with pickles.

 

3. Sorghum Thalipeeth

Literature

Finely chop two bowls of sorghum flour, two bowls of water, one large onion, one and a half teaspoon of cumin seeds, one teaspoon of asafoetida, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, one teaspoon of chili paste, one teaspoon of chopped cilantro, oil, salt, to taste.

Action

Keep the water boiling stir in salt, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and turmeric powder. Taste the water; it should be slightly salty so that the salt will be added after adding the flour.

 

When the water boils, add the flour and turn off the heat. Mix well and cover immediately.

Knead after ten minutes. Add chili paste, onion, and cilantro. If necessary, add water and make large balls.

Heat a pan and add oil—Bake on low flame for 2 to 4 minutes. Remove the lid and increase it a little.

Let one side turn slightly golden brown. Apply oil on the top side already and turn sides with a fork—late the other side sprout. Serve with curd and pickles.

 

4. Potatoes Parathas

Literature

White flour, two medium-sized cooked potatoes, one tablespoon garlic paste, one to half tablespoon chapped green chilies, one cup finely chopped cilantro, one tablespoon cumin powder, salt, butter.

Action

Knead two and a half cups of wheat flour, add salt to taste.

 

Grind the cooked potatoes so that no lumps form in the potatoes—mix garlic paste, chili paste, cilantro, cumin seeds, cumin powder, and salt in it.

Roll out the dough and potato mixture in medium-sized lumps.

Roll out a four-inch round loaf of bread and place a lump of potato mixture in the centre, and cover and cover the potato mixture completely with the rest of the dough in the center ( Just like the filling is stopping the loaf )

Put some wheat flour on the honeycomb. And lightly roll the paratha, heat the pan, and then pour the paratha over it. Fry this paratha on both sides in butter or oil.

 

5. Carrot Parathas

Literature

Three to four medium carrots will grate about two cups, two and a half slices of wheat flour(a little more or less).

Three to four green chilies, one to two lemon juice, salt to taste, a teaspoon of sugar, a handful of chopped cilantro, a teaspoon of cumin, water.

 

Action

Wash the carrots and grate them, divide green chilies and cumin seeds and add to the carrot. Add salt, lemon juice, sugar, and cilantro to taste and mix well.

Add enough flour and let it rest for ten to fifteen minutes; after 15 minutes, add a little water and knead the dough. Cover the soaked dough for ten minutes.

Serve it with pickles, chutney, and salad as usual.
