However, with the game being so old, it's only natural for players to turn to modify - especially with all the features that GTA IV and GTA V have to offer.
So I've compiled a list of some of the best mods for GTA San Andreas to make it feel like a whole other game.

This is the perfect mod to download if your computer cannot process high-quality visuals and you're weary of the standard San Andreas look. It improves the way textures load in the game, and although it significantly improves everything, it is still suitable for usage on low-end systems.
I believe this is achievable because shadows are one of the most difficult things for computers to handle. This mod adds a ton of graphical enhancements but keeps shadows to a shallow level of quality. It makes everything look great, but it doesn’t compromise the memory usage of your PC. Just what I need.
