Swami Vivekananda holds a pride of place among the makers of modern India. He was one of the greatest patriots to have ever been born in this country.
An efficient man, Swami Vivekananda, believed that the service to humanity should be selfless as service to humanity as service to God. He worked tirelessly towards the betterment of society, serving the poor and the needy, dedicating his all to his country.
He is one of the perfect role models for the country's youth who need to grow as enlightened citizens.
1. SWAMIJI'S MESSAGE TO THE YOUTH
- Swamiji always says that the youth is the only base on which the whole country's building is to decide, so it is essential for the youth to know the meaning of education, values, etc. because the whole country's glorious future is to be decided on youth's tremendous hard work and result.
- It is essential for the youth to know their real talent or the area of interest and then start doing the work on the right path or in the right direction. As we know, Swamiji always says that "Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life- think of it, dream of it, live on that idea with honesty and sincerity, and this is the only way of success".
- As Swamiji says that "Stand on our own feet and don't depend on others." So we have to study for the development of the whole country. But what is the most important thing we lack with? It is the inner belief in ourselves, the lack of strength, so just always "believe in yourself and remember that what is happening is always for good."
- Expand your hearts and hopes, as wide as the world, keep your spirits high as deep as the ocean and as far as the sky, always keep your will high beacuse it is the only thing who always pushes you towards your dream.
2. SWAMIJI'S MESSAGE TO EDUCATIONISTS
- Education is what; it is the manifestation of the perfection already in a person. 'Knowledge is inherent in a person. No knowledge comes from outside; it is all inside", but the thing is to enlighten that knowledge from inside by practicing meditation. As Swamiji also says that "Education must help us manifest the infinite knowledge within."
- As already stated, we have to grab knowledge for ourselves and the country's pride. Education must strengthen faith and pride in ourselves as a nation.

- As Swami Vivekananda also says that "Education is not the amount of information that is put into your brain and undigested all your life. we must have life-building, man-making, character-making, assimilation of ideas."
- Education is not like to only learn some bookish knowledge but we must know how to apply that education in our real life and it is what which enable individuals to find solutions to the challenges of life.
- Education must not only give ideas but also give culture, spirituality and helps us to find our inner self. It gives us the power of concentration to acquire more knowledge.
3. SWAMIJI'S MESSAGE ON WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT
- The woman is the only one because without her the whole world is incomplete and we should always respect a woman who also calls a mother.
- And as we all know from the Hindu holy books like Ramayan, we saw the struggles of Sita, who is the ideal for all of us, and many more from the entire globe who did so many struggles for the sake of the whole world and fought for humanity.
- And as we see nowadays women's also participate in all activities and they are also proud their country in all fields like men which is called equality.
- We must encourage all women and girls for higher education and support their area of interests so that they excel in all fields and come out with flying colours.
4. SWAMIJI'S MESSAGE ON THE UPLIFT OF THE MASSES
- We must always do work for our country, for the poor peoples, so that atleast for some, we can reduce the amount of poverty and unemployment.
- As Vivekananda says that "The masses will be raised when we develop faith in the equality and oneness of man
."
5. SWAMIJI'S MESSAGE ON RESTORING OUR NATIONAL GLORY
- Just as there is an individual in every man, so there is a national individuality. As one man differs from another in certain particulars, in certain characteristics of his own, one race differs from another in certain peculiar characteristics. The mission of everyone is to raise the economy of the country and contribute to harmony of races.
- And by meditation, we can know our inner self, know the purpose of our coming onto this earth, and know our responsibilities towards our motherland. As Vivekananda states that "our work depends upon the country's coming," so we should do something good for our country.
- We must grow according to our nature. We must share our good knowledge with others for the overall development of society as we also know that "knowledge grows by sharing."
The welfare and growth of the nation are key areas of development. Swami Vivekananda's illuminated ideas on the regeneration of India, with an emphasis on the role of youth, play a large role in this awakening.
And this message always exhorts us to - 'Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.'
