To qualify for any of the desired services, one has to clear the UPSC CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION. Over ten lakh of students apply for the exam, and only 1000 to 2000 of them earn the services with their might. There are three levels of selection Prelims, Main and Personal testing, or Interview.
2. State Service Commission
Like UPSC conducts Civil Services at the Central level, State conducts similar examinations and employee officers for posting like Sub Divisional Magistrate, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Excise and Taxation Officer, District Registrar. These people will work under the Officers selected directly by the UPSC. However, these are some of the powerful postings in the state who are also directly involved in power.
3. Indian Space and Research Organisation(ISRO) & Defence and Research and Development Organisation(DRDO)
Engineering graduates who want to perceive research and development can work in ISRO, DRDO, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited(ONGC), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, and many other organizations by clearing the GATE exam conducted for engineering graduates.
4. RBI GRADE - B OFFICER
Reserved Bank of India(RBI) conducts all India level examinations to select people for Manager's post; they conduct three different examinations on various subjects. They have General, Economic, and Statistics.
