Overview of Yamaha R15 V4
The new R15 V4 will receive some basic upgrades to be promoted by the new Yamaha R7. It will boast a single LED camera light unit similar to the new R7. It will receive updated body panels with new designs. The supersport will boast a new power system and wide handlebars. It will save the tail section from the old version. The new version of the Yamaha R15 V4 test prototype model seems to be heavily inspired by the R7.
The updated R15 V4 is more likely to come with the same powertrain as the current-gen model. It will be powered by a single BS6 engine compatible with VVA fuel injection and technology. It will come with a 6-speed gearbox and will also have an assist and slipper clutch system. The Yamaha R15 V4 is expected to produce 18.6 PS of maximum power at 10,000 pm and 14.1 Nm of high torque at 8,500 pm. The powertrain on the new model can be used to achieve slightly better performance.
The supersport will be built on a delta box frame with an aluminum swingarm like the powerful Yamaha R6. The R15 V4 will be fitted with a telescopic fork front and top and a motocross-type suspension link at the end. It will use a 282 mm disc brake on the front wheel and a 220 mm disc brake on the rear wheel. The Yamaha R15 V4 will be fitted with a two-channel ABS.
There will be no major changes to the new R15 V4 rating. Yamaha will add other features to this supersport such as a Bluetooth connection. This supersport will incorporate redesigned LED projector headlights instead of setting two twins in a V3 model. The Yamaha R15 V4 will be packed with a digital console like the Yamaha R25.
A brand new R15 V4 has been tried to test in recent times. The R15 spy version is hidden, but it looks like it is ready for production. It is expected to be launched in India in the first quarter of 2022
It will compete with KTM RC 125, Suzuki Gixxer SF, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, and KTM RC 200 in the Indian market.
Decision on Yamaha R15 V4
The R15 is one of the most popular sports bikes on the Indian market, and the updated R15 V4 news has made a huge impression on its fans. The upcoming supersport will come with major cosmetic improvements but will probably not come with major mechanical changes. It will use the same.
