The top five disease-fighting foods that protect the body

It seems that one of the most popular new year's resolutions is to get healthy. That's right, if you're looking to turn your health around in 2021, help boost your immune system.

As you know, 2020 is a tough year and a lot of people have packed on some of those unwanted pounds. I know that you are a big believer in not necessarily dieting, and people are always looking for that quick fix. You say it's how we reframe our thinking about nutrition and how we eat. So what do we need to know? Well, if anything we learned in 2020, it's that we need to be able to rely on ourselves as much as possible. Coming out of the pandemic, we've learned that doctors and hospitals can't do everything for us and sometimes there's not much they can do unless we're actually really sick, but we all practise health care every day in our homes in our kitchens. We are testing our own pharmacies, which include pharmacies in our kitchen, fridge, countertops, and pantries. It's right in front of us, so we need to be able to make smart food choices, and that's at the heart of taking back our lives and taking back our health. That's right, we all want to boost our immune systems. Tell us how we do that with the food we eat. Well, I’ve actually been researching more than 200 foods that can actually have benefits. Let's start with some great foods that protect the body, fight infection and inflammation in the body, and are rich in vitamin C for immunity. These are some of the fruits that cure diseases.

Berries Dark

-colored berries, some of which are my favorites, like blueberries and blackberries, and that dark dye that makes them beautiful actually has been shown to boost our immunity, and researchers have shown you only have to eat about two cups of these berries a day to be able to get that type of benefit.

Another one of my favourites is broccoli, and you know, our mothers always told us to eat the tops, stems, and even sprouts of our broccoli, which have a hundred times more benefits.

The baby sprouts, uh, these can actually be eaten sauteed. You can actually put them in chickens. Researchers discovered that combining a broccoli sprout shake with the flu vaccine can boost your body's beneficial response to the vaccine. Pomegranate juice is another one of my favorites; it's really sweet, but the good news is that you only need about eight ounces in one fluid cup, and it actually helps our gut secrete a healthy mucus that our gut microbiome, our good gut bacteria, likes to make, which boosts our immunity.

I love vitamin C foods and I recommend them to everybody because they not only boost immunity but they lower inflammation, which is exactly what we actually want. Well, how much do you need? Well, oranges are actually a great source of vitamin C. We all know that about an orange and a half will actually get you kind of what you need to lower your inflammation. We'll do about a cup and a third of strawberries. We'll do it or we're going to switch it up to cherry tomatoes. Guava, red bell peppers, and fruit always have good vitamin C. Finally,

one of my favourites is mushrooms. I prefer fresh or dried mushrooms because both contain soluble fiber, which boosts our immunity, and studies have shown that eating a cup on the third day can benefit everyone.
