Staying alone is not impossible for many people around the globe. You are not so-called introvert if you tend to stay happy being single.
I personally prefer being single most of my day no matter where I am. Because staying alone actually gives you more freedom. This article is dedicated specially to the youngsters, who are depressed because of their loneliness. I would suggest them to keep up with your loneliness because this will help you in the future in many circumstances.
Actually, there are several benefits of being alone. No one will admit it unless he or she has ever experienced the outcome from loneliness for a considerable amount of time. Believe me, you will fall in love with loneliness, once you are into it. Here are some of the benefits of being single. Read it and feel comfortable with your emotions. So, let’s jump right in!!
1 Loneliness gives you freedom.
Freedom is everything that people today are running after all the time. In this busy world with no time to speak to dear ones, we are forgetting to carry on our ancestral behavior. However, at the same time, we are getting used to it. We can do anything we want without getting anyone’s interruption. This actually helps us in focusing on our work and make the best out of it. You can concentrate more and more because there’s no one to break your attention. Only thing is, you should be longing for positive output from your time. It’s not like you are doing anything and hoping for a bright future, remembering that one day some author wrote, “Lonely ones are more successful”. So, keep that in mind too.
2 It breaks the trend.
Do you ever noticed a flock of sheep grazing around? They always follow the first ones in the row. No matter, there is space or not, no matter the nearby road is better than the one they are following, on and on. This happens because, sheep grows a mentality of following others every time, never try for better and new options like most of our friends, who always get afraid of stepping forward on a new road. Surprisingly, it is us only that warn our friends not to take a new road. This is probably because, we never tried it and never experienced its outcome. This is just an example, stand out, break the trend and leave your follower minded friends behind.
3 This one is funny and serious too at the same time
If you are sick and health conscious, then staying with your family might harm you, believe me or not, I experience it many a time. If you are from a spice loving country and, you are suffering from serious gastric problems, then you might want to stay alone and cook your type of food for the rest of your life. Because, after all, your health is in your hands only and, you don’t want to discomfort other members by letting them eat your spice-less food. For me, I don’t like to discomfort others for my personal issue, no matter they are my friends or family members or anyone. It’s up to you! This point is very personal.
4 No one will interrupt you with their personal wishes
Once you are matured enough to earn money for the family, the family members will start reminding you about their future wishes like, hey it’s time to marry, expand your family, plan for your own family etc. But, if you have been being single, spent your student life mostly in hostel or rented house, then you probably tend to run away from family liabilities. Today, we see most of the youngsters wish to stay alone. Obviously, they are earning on their own, enough to support their daily needs.
5 Actually, staying single can solve many unavoidable problems
Today, unemployment, food shortage, always short of development etc. are some burning issues around the world mainly in the highly populated countries. You see, population is increasing like anything, already over the safe limit, and still people are family centric, dreaming about bringing several more human beings to face the more cruel future ahead. People are already getting tons of bitter lessons from excessive population that we don't need to mention here again. The people and the Govt. together should plan something practical, and serious upon population management.
I would say, we have to control our emotions and should practice lifestyle like that of population declining countries, say for instance, Japan just for five years. But, Govt. will have to take some serious step towards protecting the old ones as they won’t have anyone nearby to support them. After all, our parents always wish that we will take care of them in their old ages like they took ours when we were children.
